Changed the rear differential oil for the first time with valvoline synthetic 75/90. Used a pump wasn't long enough so I cut the bottle in half and continued to pump the 3+ quarts Took over an hour.

Notes and observation: did not stink as bad as I expected. The oil had a silver sheen to it - not completely black and the magnet had the shavings everyone has seen. The parts Dept at the dealer screwed me with the wrong washers!re-used the old ones.

    Anyone have the part number?

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Hauled a pallet of travertine tile in the back, 800#. It dropped the back end to level, other than that you'd never know there was any weight in the back.

This weekend is for the TRIFECTA, or TRIPLE THREAT or HAT TRICK!
I'm treating my 2006 V6 4x4 Manual access cab to some maintenance.
First, I have the Throw Out Bearing chirp, which I'm going to replace with a URD fix it kit sleeve, throw in a new Exedy Clutch and a URD heavy flywheel.

Then I'm dropping the front diffs and shafts to take care of the engine mount gussets. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Tim at DMZ this morning and I gotta say, he's one of the nicest, most skilled people I've met! I got the engine mount gusset kit from him, and so much helpful advice. He also did some CSI style solving on my rig. (I bought it built, and the previous owner could only provide so much info...). He easily identified my mystery SUA long travel kit in 2 seconds, he said it was probably a Giant Motorsports kit. His gusset kit looks great and he even gave me tons of advice. My buddy is coming up to help me weld those in, as I have never done any welding so wish us luck!

If time permits we are going to attack the timing chain cover leak. Yup. We got till Sunday night, then I gotta roll back to NorCal... Stay tuned...
