85mph in third on the on ramp on to I-35 was a surprise. One of those look down an say I better lift and shift moments.

Damn, I can't wait. I bought a Snugtop this week that should arrive the same time as the truck. Also have some rock steps, bed mat, and sill plates waiting. I'm ready.

Yeah I'm going to start the fab work on my sliders Wednesday or Thursday next week. Need to get some door sill protectors asap as well have masking tape on the sills for now. What dealer did you order your snug top through?

http://www.txtruckandtrailer.com/CamperShells/CamperShells.htm They're good guys. I shopped around quite a bit and everyone else I found was way more expensive on the cap, and a little cheaper on the add on's. I only paid for the Flipdown slider front window and pet screens. The prolock is free this month, and the caps come with interior bedrug at no charge now. I was around $2400 out the door.

When I sell my dodge I am planning on a cap for mine. (Wife may have different idea) the places here in Waco are insane on the prices for them.

I forgot that I got the rack rails as well. Could've saved a few bucks if I'd have installed them myself, but didn't want to risk warranty, etc. The most economical option I found was Century. They're the same as Leer. You can get the Royal, which is their equivalent to the Snugtop Rebel for about $500 less, and the accessories were all cheaper. Probably could've saved about $700 and they looked nice. Check Pickup Heaven in Austin if you want to go that route.

HH is the code for Premium & Tech Package

The dealer called later today that they had a different color of my config coming in in less than a month (Silver Sky), and asked if I'd be interested.

When I was at the dealer one of the things they showed me was that there were at least 5 other guys that ordered 7544 (TRD OR DCSB 4x4) before me at the dealer, and the only order with any sort of expected date associated was delivery date of 05/26. Assuming those orders go in sequence, mine being towards the back of the list, I'm guessing my order will be fulfilled likely after 2017s start rolling out.

So I told the dealer that I'll go with my second choice of color (Silver). So.. hopefully I'll be getting mine in a month. If not, they will keep my original order of Blue going, so I can go back to it.

Well done MtnFox. You waited a long time for yours. Looks great! Mine fits in my garage too - with about six inches to spare. Enjoy!!

    Congratulations.
It's nice to see we can actually get a 7545 around here. I was starting to think it was just a legend.

My 7568 is scheduled to be built this week unless it is changed . I have checked most every day since the end of feb . and the toyota site inventory has said NO long boxes were available at anytime then and up to and including today in the Kansas city region . There have been an average of 8 to 12 available in the Gulf states region and they will not trade between the regions .
Funny as the GSR seems to get their DCLB's from Texas and the KSR gets the DCLB's from Mexico from the Vin #'s listed at dealer websites. I wonder how accurate the Toyota website is . I live 20 miles from the border of the regions but the nearest dealer is in the region I do not live. Anyway , I hope this is my week ! I hope to get her by May.

Once I saw the changes in body styles and interior I knew I wanted a new one. Had a gen 2 that I loved. Saw a few trickling in to local dealerships but wanted a grey TRD sport or off-road with the upgraded entertainment sys.

Emailing dealers didn't get me very far. Was willing to wait until next winter to pick up a demo 2016 or a 2017, but really wanted the truck now. Then Wednesday I saw one online that was exactly what I wanted and emailed an offer that was 4K below MSRP. Within an hour they responded with a written offer. Drove up the next day, they gave me fair market trade in on my 2011 sr5 pre runner with a dented tailgate and 77k miles (74% of what I paid for it) so it was a no brainier. So far I love the truck and hope to keep it for awhile.

Just got the call today that my truck is at the dealership! I was told last week that it got to the VPC on Monday, so it took a week to get from Houston to San Antonio?!?!? I'm not mad though, just happy it finally arrived. Ordered 3/2.

Ordered mine 03/22 from San Antonio dealer... still waiting.. its excruciating. I am an inpatient person by nature, but this process is teaching me a lot of patience. 6-12 weeks was my estimated delivery time frame (which tells me they have no idea).
DCLB OR w/ Tech and Towing........still waiting...

I had a 2017 on order but didn't want to wait any longer, went in on Friday the 8th to put an order in for a TRD Off-Road they told me 4 week wait time. Monday night they called me and said that they had one from the local Toyota Auto show went and scooped it up that night with 5 miles on it.
