What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Ya but there's still a huge gap and top lights are almost covered up

Not too bad at all. I did upgrade my harness to the Rigid harness though and bought my own switch.

 

Did you get curved or straight?? That's prob my problem, I got a straight one

You have to cut those for them to fit with the brackets... At least with the brackets i used...

Which brackets you got? I have that same light with mojave madman brackets and mine sits wonderfully.

I ordered one last night. Hood is a little weighty

 

I got them on eBay from Offroad Arsenal. They are they only ones that have a good selection of faceplates but the button doesn't feel that sturdy so I bought Air On Board switches and swapped the faceplates on them. They're interchangeable. Just make sure you get the 2012-current center console only switches if you plan on putting them in the center.

No, just use the wet application method. It's just like putting on tint... Wet the light, peel sticker, wet that, put it on, life it up, use a credit card and gently scrape the water out from behind it. Let dry, go over with finger to make sure it's all stuck down.

 

So, after 3 hrs I finally called it quits. I didn't run the switch through the firewall (just ran it through the door), and still have the gap in the middle. I want to run the wires through the wall but was afraid that would take me another hr. Maybe I was thinking about it too much??
