Does the little light still shine through, or does it block it?

It pretty much blocks it, but there's still a little that comes through because it's on the outside of the lense

I had a local audio/accessory shop do the install because frankly i had no idea how to haha !

Going back to that shop soon to see if they can install LEDs in the Spartans eyes... If not I'll install them but still have them do the wiring.

I ran my firewall wire through the same hole as what I think is the hood release housing on the driver's side. If you need a picture let me know. It is where a bunch of wires run through on the driver's side and a hard line come through seperately in that some hole. Pushed right through with no need to cut.

The wheels are the newest TRD bronze 16". Tires are BFG KO2 baja champion 265 70 R16 on stock suspension. New lugs from dealer, not sure why the OEM ones were swapped, different size I am sure.

I see where your saying, but did you push through where the big group of wires are? Or the small one where hood release is?

picked up the Tacoma about 12 days ago and finally had some time to get a few things done today.. its got 540 miles now.

-greased the driveshaft u-joints. each one took quite a few pumps
-torqued down the rear leaf pack U-bolts
    - added 3/4 QT to my transmission to get it full. I requested my dealer do this before I took delivery of the truck and was told it was done. Apparently I was lied to. Wanna see my shocked face!!!
    - Disconnected the battery for about an hour. Not sure if this will help but its worth a shot.

So I just got done submitting my new customer survey thing from Toyota. I blasted Toyota on knowing about this fluid level issue and not fixing it and of course got on the dealership for lying to be about the fluid level being checked. I asked that someone from Toyota corporate contact me directly. I've read a few members posts on here saying they got an extended warranty because of this issue.. Guess well see.

Ran it with the hood release, slid right along side of it, wiggled the hood release to message it through.

I finally waxed it even though I have had it since October. I bought the Eagle One prep mitt. I was excited to try it for the first time. I only went over about half of my hood with it and there were some adhesive that was sticking out from the hood scoop which I didn't notice, it got smeared on the mitt and I couldn't get it off. All it did was spread the adhesive over the hood. I think the mitt is pretty much toast. I will say the areas where I did use it are noticeably smoother, even after wax. I will probably end up buying a new one
