I was just looking into this before the accident Thule makes rails that you put on the cap and then you can fit any number of accessories from there I think the rail kit was 160 and that was special ordered through Bike DR. So if you shopped around maybe less

I think you can run the Yakama system on the cap. Check out Pelfreybilts website they sell someone's basket system that is sexy as hell and would support the RTT so it'll have no issue with a kayak and what ever else you eventually want up there.

Hmm, got quoted $710 from the local auto body shop to color match my shell to the truck, that includes sanding it all the way down to the primer and then layering it back up with more primer, base, color, clearcoat etc.

seem to high? not really a fan of the maco idea, ive seen their paint in person and its shittastic

You get what you pay for normally. You can shittastic for cheap or pretty decent for some $$$

Thats not terrible, why not do all your own prepwork to save money? Pull the weather stripping and glass, sand it with a dual action sander, start with 220 grit and go to 600ish and clean it with acetone.

Not mine, it's Chip's. I just helped him with the install at my work this morning. I'm sure he'll chime in & post some pics.
