To me this sounds odd. I'm 5'9 and literally have at least 5+ inches of room…with the sunroof option. I'm an old school driver though…I like a bit of recline to my drive

I got to call BS on this one. I am 5'11" and wear a Western style hat in my 16 Tacoma with a sun roof and have room to spare.

I wonder if that kid understands how gooofy he looks? Nice gang signal though. Tougher to hide behind a car though when the local drive by goes down. Darwin at work.

It's Kid from Kid N Play. Kind of a Fresh Price (Wil Smith) knockoff.

    2016 Quad SR5 Sport Upgrade
Hello all, new forum member located in southern Ontario and (almost) proud new owner of a 2016 Quad SR5 with the Sport Upgrade package. Almost because we signed on the dotted line but they haven't found our car yet. We'll have a Vin on Monday or Tuesday.

The truck will be a shared "extra vehicle" for the family. Also undecided between the red and the blue.

For those wanting details we got $2300 under msrp and it felt a bit too easy. I noted invoice and asked for something I thought was fair.

Added the rust inhibitor (not my choice as I wanted to do research first) and the 5" running boards.

Not planning many mods, but will grab a roof rack and tonneau cover down the road.

I hope to be somewhat active on the forums and look forward to advice and discussions with all of you. Will also post a picture when we take delivery.

    M

Do you need to know, or care?
Hi Meyran, welcome to TW and congrats on the new truck.

Did you have a trade in? Sometimes ir seems easy cause they make it up on that end.

Thanks, excited to get the truck! Our other cars are a 2013 Lexus GS350 and 2008 Infiniti EX35, so I've missed having a real truck / SUV. The Taco will scratch the itch I've had since we sold our 4Runner, and delay buying a bigger SUV.

I used unhaggle and noted that the gap between invoice and msrp was only $3K. So figured with there being no real incentives and inventory being short, $2300 was a good number to go with. I also had another dealer call me (they got my number through unhaggle) and offer me about the same price.

No trade in. We have a very low mileage 2004 Wrangler (less than 20k) that we considered trading but will ultimately sell to my cousin.

Thanks a lot bud! It shows $110.47 at the link you posted right now. Did you by chance opt for the $3.04 shipping insurance? Thanks again!

    Hi guys,
Just introducing my 3rd gen Manual SB. Added the wheels this month from TRD Pro runner with OE tires. Highly recommended!

Well you can call BS all you want - it isn't. Maybe I am closer to 5'9" but an inch doesn't matter... I have to sit with my seat reclined so my hair doesn't rub the roof and I use a #3 to shave the top of my hair. My son can't believe I drive with my seat so far reclined and he is about 1" taller but his legs are at least 2-3" longer. I showed him how my head hits the roof (not just my hair) when I sit with the seat in the exact position he uses it. I actually have to scrunch my neck.

Before you call BS - you should know what you are talking about... :)

Everyone is different. All depends on your proportions. You must have a long torso for your height and that's what makes the headroom an issue for you. This is why I make sure all my clients test drive before they buy!
