I've given a lot of thought to the URD short throw shifter, how do you like it so far? Did you install it yourself? Nice truck man!

    Stuff. Also things.
I think it made a huge improvement. The throw feels like about half of what it was before the install, and the shifts just feel more positive. Id recommend it, for sure.

Installing it was super easy. Even taking my time, it was maybe 30 minutes, if that. Just make sure that you have some red loctite for the set screw, and a means to peen the adapter to capture it. It's all explained in the instructions.

Thanks for the compliment! I have big plans for this truck. RTT is on the way, and I'm about to pull the trigger on an AP Pack Rack. Lift, tires and gears just before that. Can't wait!

I also noticed you're in SLC. Used to live there, and I still have family in Draper, Bountiful, and St. George. I miss that place a lot.

Honestly I bought the truck like that. The bumper was already white and I did notice it was "different" because I have never seen another truck with the white lower bumper. To me it looks like the past owner did some type of vinyl wrap on it. I don't mind it being white but as you can see on the edges it is peeling so I have to get it redone soon. Definitely one of a kind. Thanks for the comment!

Hey! Thanks for the compliment. It does make it one of a kind haha I haven't seen many with white on white bumper. Although it makes me feel a little awkward when I drive to another truck with white and black bumper.

I'll play. Mostly stock except: custom ugly ass rims, K&N and cheap headers (all former owner mods) . Only owned it a few months but can't drive it till I heal from foot surgery it about 3 months.

Coming from someone who had K&N put in by the previous owner too, you might want to change that out and put a regular paper filter in.

O not just a filter, the whole stock box is gone and a stainless steel tube with a K&N at the end is all I got. Guy next door clued me into MAF cleaner after you re-oil the filter.

I'm more worried that those rims are trying to suck me back to the 70's and the Disco era.

What is this that you are talking about? I have a K&N system in it too.

The filter allows more air which also in return allows in more dirt, along with this, you also have to oil it up, which will gum up the mass air flow sensor and possibly ruin it completely.

So how do you keep it clean? Or what can I do to prevent this? Just constantly clean the filter?

Replace it with a regular paper filter.

You have the whole intake and air filter. You'd have to replace it with the stock intake and put in paper filters.

Out of laziness, I probably wouldn't do all that work. I would just make sure you don't over oil the filter when you clean it. Just be frugal with the oil and you should be fine.

But if you really want to take the extra precaution, you could probably sell it on here for a good price.

    It's up to you.
