Kind of a weird place to crack. Time for frame plates and a reinforcment

 

Gonna try calling a place near us tomorrow..see what they say. Try to get some pricing for boxing the frame at least the rear (for now)

 

Well you can buy the plates from @jeffz0rz
and have them welded on locally. Probably be less expensive that way since they dont have to cut them.

He makes a vented one and full plates. I like the vented cause its a stitch weld and you can do it with the bed on. Now there will be some tricky spot though. @G.T. has them and had them installed with the bed on

My eyes are too old. Lets see a better pic. I would find it hard to believe if your frame is actually cracked, maybe its something else. Hell, I've put my frame though hell lol and back. Let me know if there's anything you need from me

 

To be honest, no. I'm not sure that's it's new..might have been there for a while under the shock top shock mount and I never would have seen it unless I did the relocation..

 

I already know they're going to try to catch me with my pants down..don't know why I have even a glimmer of hope today

Are you sure that isn't the remnant's of the weld from the old shock mount we could get in there and grind off?

 

I wouldn't hold your breath either. My dealership wouldn't even check the add actuator just because I had a front bumper on the truck. So foooook em

 

I'll double check..but I don't think so..maybe someone else could post a pic that has the same setup..like @Bsherriff11 or @Acerwin
