    Seriously, I wonder why they are paving it over. I can understand people who live out there getting annoyed by us off roaders but it was their choice to live out there in a public area

    Yeah the potholes are pretty deep it's either REAL fast (real dangerous) considering foot traffic and other motorists, or, slow to make the rough ground ride smooth.

    Meh.

    Haven't done it yet!:facepalm:Already have the sandpaper,color sanding paper(if i decide to go that extreme),primer,black paint,clear coat.All rattle can's.

    I would at least clean/remove the surface rust and spray WD-40 on it in between washes.Grey primer will help but you may not like the way it looks.It will help though!

    Yeah thats what I was thinking. Bought some engine enamel clear coat that I'm going to use on my leds and my exhaust and some other stuff. The enamel would be good for the exhaust since its good up to like 500 degrees or something

    Yeah that pisses me off, always gets way too rutted there too quickly. And I heard they eventually want to pave the whole fire road? Not sure how credible that is though.

    At least remove the surface rust and rattle can it with primer or clearcoat(preferably both).If you don't want to do either than keep WD-40 on it!It's not going to stop the rust from growing but it slows the process and shields it from the elements(weather,rode grime etc.)!

    I have a bicycle beach cruiser that i welded in it's entirety and is all raw metal!I keep it coated with WD-40 and it hardly has very much rust to it!Hope some of this helps you out Nicklovin!

    It makes sense. Although they'll end up with asphalt in pieces in a year or two. A regular road that doesn't get the kind of abuse fails eventually, that road will be wrecked.
