You know what kind of mpg you were seeing with your supercharger setup?

Wouldn't be comparable since I was running a larger fuel pump and 440 injectors. Also drove it like an asshole so it wasn't good lol

My 2002 double cab 2wd pre runner has a 3RZ 4 cylinder and running the 2nd gen " black case" TRD low boost 4.5 supercharger . Along with a K&N CAI , Doug Thorley header and Gibson cat back it runs very well

You can really hear the blower once it's making boost and even and low idle rpm you can tell it's a blown motor LOL!!!! . I think I'm putting out close to 255hp with those minimal mods

I'm looking at making more boost with a 8lbs pulley but with Calif smog laws not sure it will be legal . I like what I'm reading though about some of you getting away with just a aftermarket fuel pump and pink injectors

As for fuel mileage last tank with mostly city driving I got 15.8mpg and that was with the transmission power mode on

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
That's a misconception. The turbo can be sized for instant boost if that's what you want. Turbo is a more efficient and effective method for boost and cheaper too.

Eh, I don't feel like dealing with oil lines etc. I'm just after a little more oomf on the bottom end. If I had goals of massive hp, turbo not doubt. But just something to add a bit more torque, and easier to bolt on, I'll go supercharger.

You'll definitely like the supercharger even if it's only the low boost set up , that alone will get you just over 200fwhp

Do a K&N CAI and a good flowing cat back and you should be just over 250 fwhp with the 4.5 pulley . Going with a 8lbs pulley you'll be well over 300fwhp

I've got pink injectors so if I go up to a 8psi pulley from my 4.5 psi set I should be fine , I'm running the stock fuel pump

I'm not going to be racing or beating on it just looking for more hp . Also any idea on power increase from 4.5psi to 8psi , could I easily get well over 300 hp ???

    EDIT ....

Never mind just found out the Aeromotive A340 Stealth pump is 89gph and the stock pump is 33gph but both are capable of 90psi

Looks like I will need to install the Aeromotive pump to keep up with fuel demand

This isn't a supercharger from LCE , this is a gen 2 (black case) supercharger from TRD mfgd by Magnuson

    Should be 35-40% increase .... 217 - 220hp

    Add ...

    Doug Thorley header ... 20hp

High flow cat & Gibson cat back ....15-20hp

    K&N CAI set up ..... 10 hp

    So about 250hp plus

The LCE supercharger is the same as what you have. LCE bought the rights to it. I'm not sure the header, exhaust, and K&N are doing much for you. The stock exhaust and intake on these trucks are pretty good. I'd have to see dyno sheets.

LCE recommended that I go with the Doug Thorley header since I'm running a power adder such as a supercharger . The tech @ LCE told me I would see very noticeable gains in hp & torque . He also mentioned after a talked with him that K&N CAI compliments the supercharger and will get more air into the motor to make more hp

It'd be interesting to see it on a dyno. I know for N/A trucks, exhaust and intake does nothing.
