Im actually in Odenton, so severn isnt to far out of the way. ill give these guys a shout and see what they quote me

Thought about it, but IIRC ARE uses gel-coat on there caps, and since i park outside any prep-work i do would be ruined in a matter of days before i could get it into the shop for paint. plus I'd have to actually buy a sander seeing as I don't have one laying about

I've has the duratracs twice now. They are okay. Installed them in Jan and now wet traction is low a few months after running them. Not like spin around in the intersection low but fishtail slightly low. The tread wear slow though and still have plenty of tread on them. To be fair I'm not that easiest on the throttle either. Mud traction is pretty good. Expect a very minor hit to the MPG. I have had the E rated ones they are heavy and have extra protection for the trails, I have the C rated and survived RC with them aired down to 20psi. Noise is minimum for mud tires with the radio on you won't hear it. Keep them rotated and keep tore shine off of them and they will be decent tires. Try to find them on sale as the $250 a tire price tag isn't worth it. I might be doing more research when these wear out and swapping out tires for another brand/style mud tire. Over all I do like them though

I'm starting to research tires for the T4R and have been considering the Duratracs.

I do but would have to trailer it there too haha. Its my parents, 50 minutes North of me. I was going to take it straight there but was worried I'd get too busy to work on it and didn't want to leave it there for a long time.

Yea they are a very popular tire you can't really go wrong with them. Mine rubbed slightly turning on stock height. 265/75r16 no rub now though so far and I've hit some nice turns.
