it'll flex for days I'm sure but until the shaft is in, you no know where the bind is.

It should not bind at all. Not that much angle there and i know that a drive shaft of normal u joints would work but if not i can get misaligned hi angle u jionts to run.

I think it should be just fine also because its a high pinion and not a low pinion.

    as an example only...
I went with a simple leaf spring, soa. (spring over axle) on that Scout.
Should have been a slam dunk right? just a simple lift with virtually the same components.
    Nope.
Had to cut and rotate the outer "C's" 15 degrees to get the pinion angle up and maintain some kind of castor. 4 degrees of castor and 11 degrees of pinion angle is what I ended up with.

In the end to alleviate bind I had to go with a double cardon shaft to keep the shaft from binding at full droop.

That's only part of the problem too. You also need a long enough slip joint in your shaft. Much longer than the rear.

You might need a 2 lb residual valve to keep the fluid at the caliper. The new single 3" probably has more fluid capacity than the stock 4 piston.

What are the symptoms? Soft long throw pedal? Hard pedal but not clamping force at the caliper? Are your bleeder's pointing up?

Some info for 2nd gen SAS brakes

beading the brakes with the truck off give great pressure and seams to stay when we "test" it. turn the truck on and you can push it to the floor pretty easily. bleed the brakes with the truck on and the whole time its extremely easy. test and its about par with the easy part, if you pump it they do get better but still shitty in all comparison.

we have bench bleed the master and then rebleed the whole truck, nothing
we have cycled a whole 3 large bottles of brake fluid through it so i hope there is no bubbles
we here a slurping sound when brake is being pushed down?? sounds like its coming from the master???
and thanks for the links and i was looking through those yesterday. i dont think that its the lack of ability to push these calipers sense they are 5 sq inches smaller on each side then stock. but i dont know

@thefatkid do you guys have a master in stock over there?

Are you still going through the abs system?

I doubt the master went bad from sitting for 2-3 weeks, but if it's original high miles then maybe.

Are you sure there are no leaks? it just takes a teensy little leak to get a spongy pedal and with the rain it can be hard to see.
