Well that good to hear. I've been considering LT later on whenever my front end decides to give in. Or SAS which is 6x the price :spy:

Then again haven't even wheeled my mall crawler so what am I saying lol

    haha!

Yea, get and wheel it first. Get an idea of what you like. The more you drive it the better idea you'll get of what you want. Then decide on parts and execute!

But go drive it first. haha

If only my mind worked that way. I've pretty much built my truck and all I need to basically "complete" it is skid plates lol

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8MZRoMdkso

The first ~10 secs basically sum up my mall crawling life though. :spy:

On top of that my idea with my build was "lift kit, tire/wheels, sliders... ok, let's start wheeling" and then it turned into whatever looked the coolest I bought and then two years later we're here

I'll be honest, little dumb at this point--especially with how built she is--that I haven't wheeled the truck yet. Then again to be fair, Rubicon, Fordyce, Niagara Rim, my truck wouldn't have done much there. It also doesn't help that when ever my dad wants to go wheeling, he takes his SASed FJC and usually a bunch of other SASed vehicle show up. I would literally have been strapped to the FJC at all times just to keep up and most likely my dad would completely the trail with probably just my front bumper. lol Anyways, didn't really let me have a chance to learn how to wheel since there would always been a crowd of people where ever that FJC went. I'm hoping that in a few week, after the snow melts a bit more, I can get the chance to go run Slickrock with a bunch of TW members, whenever that gets set up, or perhaps a shack down run at Hollister Hills.

yea go out on your own man! To be fair. Once you get skids, you'll be able to do Rubi no problem. Sure, not all the hard stuff. But still be able to go there and have a blast. But you'll want a bit more driver experience before that too.

Yea, I really should go out on my own, but being that I get scared to death without my "recovery vehicle" around, it's hard. And then factor in my Generalized Anxiety Disorder, which basically give me the mind set of "go to the trail and you'll probably roll/died" doesn't really help. I'd just prefer to go with someone who had a which. I really think that is m biggest thing right now. Winch will probably the next thing I get after skid plates just do I don't do something dumb, get stuck and have no way out. I also think that once I finally set tire on the trail, my confidence will be boosted since I have no experience driving anything other then a completely over the top SASed FJC with everything you could ever ask for.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
We survived the selling of BoxRocket, should be ok with the selling of Frank. But I don't want to test that theory :p

No use @ing ponethousand; he gets on once a year and post a shit ton in a bunch of threads and disappears again.

So the binding issue I have that I talked about in the LT thread. Big thanks to Dylan of corse. We test drove the truck and found that the noise I'm getting is actually coming from the front drive shaft hitting the transmission bell housing. Dylan said in missing the front diff rear mount. That bolts to the crossmember that the steering rack bolts to. So I need to pick up the mount and put it on the diff. Figure I let you know.

Yeah I'm hoping to try and wedge it up in there. Dylan told me if I can't I'm going to have to take everything apart to drop the diff and install the mount. So fingers crossed. I'm just glad I didn't brake anything.

Yea...im not sure you'll be able too. Might be able to disconnect the front mounts and the drive shaft and it may rock enough to let you get it in there.

i remember it being a weird two bolt setup and i only did the one bolt...can't totally remember though.

Oh yeah I didn't think about loosing the front mounts. I also have the diff drop too so maybe I could get it to squeeze in there. Thanks.
