That upper dash piece/gauge cluster just pulls off after you remove those 2 push clips on the roof of the cluster, and remove the bottom gray dash piece like everyone has discussed.

I think you'll have to remove the plastic piece on the second pic that's above the bolt, the piece that makes that cubby hole area, to let the lower dash drop down. You'll see when you take those bolts out if you have to or not.

    It just pulls out.

Nice setup!! I wondered what those style switches looked like in our trucks. I like the stock looking switches but those are very nice! What color LED backlight did you go with?

I had to pull the upper dash panel off to get behind the upper row of switches (the row the fog light switch is on). There's a wide lip under that row of switches that makes them hard to reach from underneath.

These are handy for tapping into the existing swtich wires for getting the mictuning switch to work with the dash lights, they clip onto the smaller wires well and allow for tapping two lines with one clip.

Also, remember that the switch/dash lights are on the "TAIL" fuse, not the "GAUGE" fuse which only in case something in the install strays from the plan.

That's nice man! I may go with them to avoid having to wait so long. Did you relocate your power inverter switch and traction control buttons to the top or were they already there?

Customer Service - don't want to hi-jack this thread but...

I haven't been on this forum since I sold my Tacoma a few years ago. However, my current project is making minor upgrades on a GMC 2500hd. I ordered two rockers and realized I needed to change the LEDs. Short story even shorter - Jim answered my question and provided great customer service. I came back to this forum to give props to the folks at OTRATTW - quality products with great customer service! Will reply if I have issues which I don't expect.
