Sunrise Toyota in Oakdale. Just drove by there they have 3 Double Cab Sports in stock.

 

Got mine from Atlantic Toyota in amityville. Sales guy was cool, decent experience. Wasnt like buying my BMW by any means.

 

Huntington Toyota. My salesman isn't there anymore though. He was the man. Got me below invoice haha.

 

Sunrise in oakdale. I had a few less than desirable experiences with amity. Both in sales and service.

 

sunrise cause it's closer to home but i liked the vibe from riverhead better....

 

Bought mine from Sunrise. Riverhead treated me like crap so I drove a half hour west. The guy Anthony at Sunrise helped me get a super good deal. He honored discounts that were offered to me online for a truck in Riverhead, even though he didn't have to.

HAH my bad, i meant SUNRISE in oakdale. went to amityville originally and felt like i was being played from all angles. riverhead was cool, but the guy said it could take him a year to get my truck which i thought was very funny that he would even say something like that. walked into sunrise in oakdale and told them exactly what i wanted and the guy gave me invoice price right off the bat. couldn't believe it, i was just like ......ok heres my money.

 

Well looks the rich kids got their legal fix for the day in the East Setauket woods. The gates had been opened, logs moved and entrance cleared. Spotted a couple range rovers and a discovery coming out of the trail head. Sad when stuff goes down in your own backyard and nobody invites you.... Anyone have a cap for a short bed that they want to get rid of? I'm looking to buy one. No color preference what so ever. I just really need it for a one time use.

They do this once a year, I actually used to go in that exact spot to play airsoft in the woods with like 8-14 people. Right off sheeps pasture. Then someone was found dead in there and they blocked the entrance with a boulder lol

 

Dead people screw everything up.

 

God damn man, you all look like a bunch of Rambos. How you guys can get away with that and anyone on a motorized machine is chased out like the devil is beyond me... Of course I get it though airsoft is nice and quiet and machines are not, but still geez the untrained eye must see that and freak out, at least now these days with all the big bad black rifle chaos that goes on.

I wonder what happened with that I remember they had found human remains back last year I think? I do believe it was said to be remains (bones only?) I tried looking for more info but not much found online.

Currently boulders and logs are removed, also the gate is unlocked for Setauket woods Possum Pit. And there are a few other entrances accessible if you are going with on an ATV or Dirtbike. Also a few ways to get into the Laurel Woods as well, but very tricky to sneak a 4x4 in their now.

Looking to pick up a mountain bike so I can get in there more often without being paranoid. It makes me so angry we can't go off into these last few undeveloped parts of sandy island we have left.

 

The walk/run paved path goes right through there, and yes remains.

I knew the paved green way trail thing runs through possum pit. I have ridden my bicycle through it a few times already and had a grand ol time blasting through there on my scooter this one time, obviously that was short lived after a man tried haling me down to scold me.
