Very unforgiving in areas. This is the only place my truck has incurred damage. The rocks are sharp and hard. I was out there a few weeks back and 3 rides went home for repairs. Black diamond trails are the best-ssssslllllooooooooooowwww.
BTW: Sportsman Warehouse sell ohv permits.

There was a really cool cave out that way with different levels. I think it was called Stokey Ranch Cave

that is the problem, those trails will take you all the way down to paulina and beyond but there are many different forks on the way. I usually plan on a map before i take the bike or run out there.

Not Bend, but that way. I'll be going out to the Christmas Valley area tomorrow to start clearing a path where I will eventually put a driveway out to my property.

Almost made it to east lake this weekend. Was at NF-9710 & NF-900 intersection and decided to head back. Got stuck a few times in some deep patches of snow. Had a bunch of fun tho.

May 7th Cline Butte OHV Trail Run
Spring is here and it's time to hit the trails. Lets get a group to head out to Cline Butte for a day of fun. The exact trail run is in the process of getting planned out. We will be sticking to mostly green and blues.

Meetup Location: Fred Meyer's Parking Lot (944 SW Veterans Way, Redmond, OR 97756) @ 9:00am and expect to roll out by 9:45am toward the North Barr Trailhead.

I may be out of town that weekend but, if not, I'll make it. Black trails aren't all that bad. Mostly taller rocks, a little more technical (potential damage). Blue trails are pretty easy. Greens are like the highway.

Hey do any of you guys know a good auto/rv shop here in town? I got an IBS dual battery system i want to put in but just dont have any time at all and i would like to have it ready to go for my trip to montana at the end of the month. I was really looking forward to installing this but i just dont have time. And the way i have my truck set up there is no room under the hood so i would like to go behind the rear passenger seat but it might be a lot easier just to put the second battery in the bed.

Short notice. I keep hearing good things about the import auto repair on empire. They may be able to help out though.
