Any of you Solano guys have experience with a local electrician who is capable* of doing communication cables? Specifically running some CAT5 and attaching RJ45 connectors.

    And does them well.*

    It's in Vacaville.

If anybody knows someone, shoot me a PM. Preferably someone who is an electrician, also not sure if conduit will need to be ran, but quality of work is pretty paramount.

If things don't work as they should, we will need feet on the ground getting it fixed and not a guy who won't answer his phone or can't be available.

glad i got to see that AllPro thread before the mods cleaned it up. I honestly think its bad when they clean it up. Lose good info in there in the process of cleaning. Let it happen!

Side Note apparently my "skills" mean i can open an offroad shop :)

i saw the shameless SOS plugs lol I've been dicked around by too many large aftermarket companies. I've come to accept this is how they all run then im impressed when they act like they SHOULD.

I fully believe AP had the attitude but bad on his part for not getting the modification permission in writing.

I don't have a horse in that race, but I wouldn't give Eddy a quarter if he promised to choke on it.

All Pro may have fucked up, or may not have - all Tracy had said is that guys story isn't true, so who knows.

All I know is AP supports this forum huge, and every company puts bad stuff out sometimes. That guy joined just to air his laundry which is always questionable IMO. Tracy has been great to me whenever I've dealt with her, and they contribute substantially to TW with their TW prize awards. Can't assume they're shitty based on one guys issues, or some bad product coming out on occasion.

If they fucked up, hopefully they'll make it right. If the guy is full of shit and trying to make them look bad, then hopefully they find a way to gracefully and professionally tell him to get fucked. :)

Everyone has their favorite fab shops so I don't hop on board the "should've went with so and so." Nobody makes a perfect product all day long, especially when it's designed off one truck and supposed to fit every other truck the exact same way - too many variables for that.

I am very curious to see the response. The "built in jig" quote, if in fact was said, pisses me off.

    Not sure yet.

Site inspection was today, but I wasn't there and haven't seen what's needed.

We have a call into a second wiring guy we use and he might be able to do it. Should know in an hour or so.

There are a bunch of people who do this kind of thing. I would generally not use a high voltage electrician to do it. But someone who does structured data cabling. Like SASCO or Henkels & MCCoy-there are many others but you get the idea.
