There were actually two threads that were the same! The one i posted on got locked!Feel bad for the OP cause i've never heard of anyone being unsatisfied with there AllPro products!Hope it all works out for the OP but then again doesn't matter much to me because i have no plans on purchasing anything from AllPro!

It is a real shame. Will be interesting to see what comes of it. I had a similar issue with a gun stock manufacturer where I purchased a laminate stock unfinished that fit several similar rifle patterns and had to be lightly modified to fit the platform. Before buying I called customer service, told them what I had, and confirmed what would be the appropriate product. A few hours of working on fitment and it started to become very apparent that "some light modification" was going to mean really, really, working on this piece.

So I called over to the manufacturer and spoke to a different guy. He told me I had picked up the wrong stock! I should have gone for a different model instead. They almost didn't take the stock back claiming the first guy I spoke to must've been some kind of summer intern or something. Since I'd now modified it they couldn't even put it into "scratch n' dent" for cheap sell.

After arm twisting I managed to get a box sent to me with instructions to ship the other one back.

Still aggravating though. Lesson? Get it in writing.

I've worked with them a couple times. My advice is to call rather than order online. Ask to speak with Tracy and call back if she isn't available. Their email correspondence isn't great so just go old school and use your voice box. Have a question? Call Tracy. Forget emailing. As for their products, I've only ordered their ubolt flip kit, bumps stops, and brake lines and upon visual inspection it all (flip kit) looks to be quality crafted parts and werepackaged satisfactorily. Oh yeah, my ubolt flip kit and brake lines came in today. Huzzah! Note: only the flip kit I bought is made by AP. Brake lines are made by Crown and were shipped by AP.

100% agree with this. I use my AMEX for every online purchase as well as large purchases. 3 reasons: 1) disputing is so much easier when things get sour. Though this has never happened to me. Knock on wood. 2) I'm not tying up cold hard cash if I have to dispute. Banks can often take weeks or possibly a month or longer to refund cash back into your checking account. 3) points! Why not stack points when you spend? Big purchases often pay for my plane tix. In fact, I'm hopping on a plane next week because of reward points.

*and AMEX forces me to pay off every month in full so I never get in trouble. I got in trouble when I was young. Never again. Haha

Problem with this mindset is you end up like the OP: he called, he didn't get in writing, he's out to dry assuming you believe "his side" of the story.

In business terms: call and clarify then inclusively plan, follow up with email, await confirmation, act. Worst case scenario? You end up in front of a black dress & wig but you have an email + their confirmation.

Yes. You are right. He made a few mistakes and perhaps AP didn't execute in the right manner either. I wish them both well and hopefully they can get things resolved amicably.

I must say though, a web order, if anything, is supposed to be just like if you were right there in front of them??? I don't know the whole situation, but from what I am reading so far with these latest posts, it doesn't make any sense??? Or put simply, WHY even buy on-line anymore and go through all that hassle of verifications and all??? Shi-, I could have fabbed something up by the time all the BS was finally done and over with... LOL!!! Is APOffroad REEEEEEEEALY THAT BAD???!!! Or am I taking something out of context by reading posts here and there? Anyways, I was even going to buy a rear bumper from APOffroad when I had the chance... well, when I have a job again... LOL!!! Still looking for one :(:fingerscrossed: No regrets on what I did though, THAT is for sure!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Allpro. But I bought my stuff directly from their shop when it was near Hemet and I saw the stuff before I bought. I know a few of their people did not make the move with them so maybe quality has gone downhill.

Just a bunch of people (>100 still, lol) waiting for nothing to happen. If All Pro was half smart they're trying to fix this via PM.

That is probably the case here?

    Regarding on-line purchases and verifications:
God forbid if things have to be constantly verified through e-mail, texts, crime scene photos, a dinner date and "bed time play" and hopefully with the correct partner, etc etc etc before you get an order correct... LOL!!! It would be like going through a drive through ordering a water, see scenario:
drivethru: Welcome to DumbDumbWater may I forget you
me: uhhhhhh, yeah, I would like a water please
    drivethru: small, medium, or large
    me: small please
    drivethru: coke, pepsi, or sprite
me: uhhhhhh, no a small water
    drivethru: medium water
me: slightly losing patience and throwing head back... no a small water please
drivethru: okay sir, I need your phone number, where you work, e-mail address, when did you first have sex with your wife, is she cheating on you, etc etc etc
    me: BRO a F'N SMALL WATER... W...T...F...???!!!
drivethru: sir, we need this information so that we don't make a mistake on your order. Please wait for confirmation in 1-2days or a week??? Then come back through the drivethru, show us the proof of purchase, then we resend the confirmation back to corporate in India so they can re-check the order and make sure no one F'UP the translation, etc etc etc

Yeah, God forbid if the business market goes this direction if this ever becomes the case!!!:annoyed::infantry:

If they say anything it'll look bad. They need the OP to say he's satisfied. Either way that thread will become a lightning rod for "All Poo" stories to come out.

In short: I ain't touching All Pro hardware moving forward.

The difference is price. Am I gonna make a big deal over $2 water bottle? Aggravated? Sure. Day ruined? Hardly.

Out $2000 and all I have is "Well you told me over the phone" well all I did was assist you in fucking me.

Had Shmellmopwho Make a set of sliders for me. He was great! Super friendly, and for the peace of mind of having someone local do the work, and give you updates with pictures was amazing.

When the day came to get them installed, he was timely, and did all the install himself, as he wanted to make sure it left on the truck correctly! Could not be happier

Yeah they are (Gusseted, Frame rail, thick steel) .best I have seen, but it seems quality has taken a hit since they moved. I couldn't be happier with mine. I will call my buddy who works down the street from their "old" shop and see if they are still made there. I bet they are. When I went there Tracy said they were moving because of tax reasons. I wonder if they moved the management only and still make them in/near Hemet.
