What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

am i crazy for leasing with the intent to buy? i just can't swing a $600+ payment on a new truck. BUT i can swing a $340 payment on a new truck for 9 years. i may be an idiot, but from what I've read, I'm only paying an extra $1500 to tack on 3 more years to pay for my truck. am i missing anything? also, the warrantee will last longer as well, no? salesmen gave me invoice (for lease) on trd OR AC with a lease buyout of $23,000.

 

Got my bolt-on DCLB sliders with kickout in today from @ETaco23. Amazing fab work! Just dropped off for powdercoating.

I picked up mine for my DCLB the other day, just need a buddy that's free to help install them with me.

 

Some people may bash you on it. But when it comes down to it. You're making the payment not them. You don't get the best price in the long run. But its comes down to money flow and how much you can pay monthly and be safe with that payment. I'm in the same boat. I'm leasing a double cab SR for $200 a month with a ~$21,000 residual. All I got to say is you can't complain about that monthly payment

Front rail and rocky mount for my bike.

 

Did you have to buy and install that front rail? Mine only has the two side ones

 

I did my last taco inside and out, but no tow package on that one... This time i have the tow package so i said screw the license plate lights and just switched out the interior.

Can't see them from the drivers seat no how

 

Thats way out of my budget, I'm sure its worth it but I guess I'm sticking to regular wax.

You can buy the front rail from a 2nd gen. It fits perfectly. Will get a link when I can find it.
