I don't like it on MY side, but on the way home on a cold night, I usually hit the passenger button to warm up the Ole' ladie's ass... it's damn cold in bed, so I try to warm it up BEFORE we get home...

Been working well for me... try it guys..!!

I wish I had heated seats, but I didn't want to pay for the rest of the premium technology package that had a bunch of stuff I really didn't want. Wish I could have JUST got heated seats as an option.

Yeah, I know.. it don't work that way... they have to "up-sell" you or they could not sell most of that shit...!!

I did not want the moon roof, but it was on the truck I got...(take it or leave it).. I did not need the crappy BSM shit either.... (has not worked since day 5)...

But WTF... you get what you pay for, right..... NO.. you DO NOT... you get what "they" want you to have... (Crap that keeps you coming back to the dealership)..!!

The bsm has never worked past day 5 on my truck and I don't really care... I don't want them touching it, so I'll let it go..

I installed mine like this with a fuse tap and spliced the two together. I turned them on high on both and after 5 min the tap a fuse was red hot. It never blew a 10amp fuse for the two on it since they draw about 4.4-4.9 amps per seat. It felt like it was gonna melt the tap a fuse. I swapped it back to two of them and all was cool and well.

Glad they work well. I'm glad I didnt fork over the couple grand for the package since after installing a set of wet okole covers I doubt the seat will ever get cold enough to use a warmer. it was 28 degrees out the other morning and the seats with the covers were warm.

I helped a buddy install his Wet Okole's and thought they were nice. I thought about getting a set, but don't like that the covers make the seats look/feel bigger. Plus some of the negatives other members mentioned about sweat, hot, wet, stench, etc.

I checked my fuse tap today. I ran both seats for about 45 minutes. Passenger seat was on high the whole time. The drivers seat was on high for as long as I could stand it and then switched to low.

The fuse tap did not get even slightly warm. Felt no different than the surrounding fuses.

I would make sure you are using the correct style fuse tap (low profile) and check it's amp rating before using it.

i did. Weird. Mine was really hot? I checked them with a meter. Swapping to two of them cooled them down to where they never even get hot now. No idea but thought i would share incase.

Heated steering wheels are nice. Never thought I would use the feature until I hopped in the 2016 Escalade.

I also ran both front seats on hi for 30min and no noticeable change in the temp of the fuse tap. I've got a 20amp fuse for 2 10amp circuits tied together. Hope you don't have any further issues.

+1 with the complaint that the double cab premium & tech package is the only way to get heated seats from the factory. I am tall 6'5" and would rather have that extra headroom in the cab with no sunroof. Plus the 3K add on for P&T is steep!

Worst part of the aftermarket installs seems to be getting the seat apart and those "clips" back together with the foam...etc.

Thinking if I go taco without the P&T package, it may be worth to pay a auto upholstery company to insert the heated pads, and I will do the install, wiring...etc.

Anyone gone this route? (located in Colorado, I would assume I could find a company in Denver)

I agree, for all the headaches it sounds like it is, I would definitely have an upoulstry shop tackle it instead.

My Canadian spec TRD OR has heated seats without the sunroof. Toyota must know we need heated seats to warm us from our igloos

Yeah, heated seats are awesome but you know what's even better? Cooled seats. I would trade heated seats for cooled seats but I do live in Alabama where it snows 0-2 days a year... normally 0.
