Good idea, come back here, and we will need only one or two more! :D

    I'll ask around and see.

    Thanks again, appreciate the advice.
So does say, a rustoleum bed liner not stick well as a top coat over this stuff and thats why youre recommending this POR top coat? I am getting it mostly for the frame and sliders, but would like to get the bumpers too and was planning to shoot a coat of rustoleum bed liner on top.

The ruatoleum rattle can stuff isn't worth it. Same thing happened to me, it just flakes off.

I have however had great results with the dupilcolor blue rattle can bed liner. Unless I've bashed something on a rock. That stuff stays on great. Its almost a bit rubbery.

Don't get the black can stuff though. That won't give you a smooth finish.

The blue can stuff is great though. I wouldn't hesitate to use that for a top coat at all. I use it all the time.

Yeah... I chose the rustoleum for coating all my armor and it hasn't been great... Although nothing is when you're dragging sliders and bumpers over sharp rocks.

Ideally, por15 for a rust proof undercoat, then just something that looks clean and adheres well for top coat. No matter what I think we will have to constantly be touching up the top coat surface

FOr the POR-15 I would stick with the product it was meant for. The top-coat is meant as a UV protectant for the actual POR-15. I used the top-coat in areas where the sunlight would hit. For the sliders, I put on a silver color of the rust preventative and then black top-coat. That way I knew I covered the POR-15 all the way. I plan on doing the same for the bumpers, but this time giving the spray on top-coat a shot.

Everything is in the prep though. This is not something you want to get done in one day. For the frame, I did it over the course of four days. Day one was cleaning the frame with a pressure washer and then using the degreaser. Did that twice. Day two was the same thing followed by the metal prep. Day three I let it dry thoroughly. Day 4 was the rust preventative in the morning followed by the top coat in the afternoon.

I wonder if it would stick on the rustoleum bed liner spray? My bumper is covered with that...

Wouldnt hurt to do a test area since the rustoleum is relatively cheap
Yea I dunno. Wouldnt cost much to do a test though.

Yea I just seen that. I would like to see it in person before I would try it out though. I got a chance to see the POR-15 in person before buying it, so that helped.

Snagged some "new-to-me" Clazzio seat covers to replace my 8 year old Wet Okoles. There are a couple places that I need to tighten up but overall, these are wayy better than the WO's.

Don't you just love the little surprises you get when you do your maintenance? Wasn't planning on replacing shocks anytime soon...

Same thing happened to mine. Bought a simple rebuild kit for under 25 bucks at mckenzies.com and had the local TW shock guy rebuild it. He had it done in less then an hour.
