Glock vs non-glock... Everywhere i look somehow this topic comes up... :D

I like the XD and m&p models over glocks personally... Never owned an hk... But its more fun if we all just go against the glock lovers...

I keep a Glock 29 in my Tacoma. I'd rather it be from a big German gun maker, but no one else makes a quality comparable 10mm pistol.

Haha. My buddy has a Glock 26 and I shot that too. I liked the way it shot, but I'm not too keen on compacts or sub-compacts though. It's not that easy to get a CCW here in CA, otherwise I'd re-consider.

Truck looks good. Did you by the front valance from the dealership? If so do you have a PN?

I've been thinking about swapping my valance for a black one as well. Did you purchase that through the dealer? Do you have a part number? Thanks!!

Got the touch up spray paint. Tried something with new wheels. Bought one rim to try it out, very tedious. I think the paint matches great. What do you guys think. Mall ready rims? Mind you truck is a little dirty rim is not.

I had mine wrapped in vinyl. Priced it out at the dealer and the cost was absurd. About a grand.

Front lower valence (black unpainted as on TRD Off Road/SR/SR5): 53911-04210

For some reason when you search online the prices are huge (like $600). If you call the dealer or should be around $150.

Clips are built in and it is very easy to swap out. I did break a few of the integrated clips removing the original color match. If you are patient they won't break. It's an easy DIY.

When i had my jeep i did all my mods too quickly and didnt focus on the exterior look or functionality to suit my needs.

With that being said I've been taking it slow with the taco. De-badged, de-vinyled, and color matched glove box insert. Gonna do a tonneau before vacation in june, tint, new grille, and color match the rear chrome inserts when the weather warms up in Pittsburgh! Loving this forum more and more each day

I do like the Glock 19 after modifications, but I'd rather have an HK. I have a USP that my modified glocks can't even come close to.

I have an xds that still has people scratching there heads how it behaves so well.
PS: if you haven't got to shoot an HK. Do it, I bet you'll be impressed

Love my Glocks! I carry 23 and 29 sometimes!
Carry my 20 as a backup bear gun when in the woods.

What flaps are you using? My weathertecs caught on the inside on sharp turns. Looking for another flap that I don't have to hack. Those OEMS?

Managed to break both of mine, kind of a weak ass design by Toyota for this thing, but I did find a way to secure the emblem if you break the tabs, just need short fat screws and they will pinch the plastic tightly, mines not going anywhere anymore. :fingerscrossed:
