Any MLB fans here???

They'll be one step closer to getting back on the right track. They need to let their big-money veterans and bad contracts run out and start developing talent again. If done correctly, they'll be a contender in 2018.

 

For some reason a lot of people think the Giants are a small market club, but the truth is the exact opposite. They're more west coast Yankees than Moneyball.

 

its just the rivalry and that's why he's got so much hate for the Dodgers lol we still have a whole season to go though..

 

Why not? Why root for a team where the owner doesnt give a damn about the fans, their experience or their fan-ship?

Stadium is a dump, you cant name 5 players on the A's, they dont retain talent. Why would anyone want to support a team that just rolls over constantly?

i love Petco Park, always beautiful and the nicest people. I honestly hope the Padres figure it out. Too nice of an organization to be a rudderless ship.

 

Went last year, had a great time considering it was CA....... But it really was one of the best times I've had at a ballpark.

 

Can't decide if my cardinals are going to be the team that struck out damn near 40 times in Pittsburg last week or the team that has dropped 41 runs over the last 4 days.

The Cards, seems to me, is always the team that beats us in the wild card game or beats us out for the wild card or something. But I still can't hate them. I love their style of baseball. That hard gritty style of play. They remind me of the old Braves. Good farm system, great pitching. I really want to hate them.

Not going to get on my Braves. I just tell myself that if Cubbie fabs can hang on for all those years then I can hold on for a few years. Damn Frank Wren for all those idiotic contracts. To include: BJ Upton, Dan Uggla, Chris Johnson, etc. Our farm system went from 29 to 3 over the off season and part of last season which I'm stoked about. 2017-2018 we should be relevant again or close to it.

 

Meanwhile, in Minnesota......


I can't remember a season I was more excited for baseball to start and the hopes the Twins might have a good season. Maybe we can set a new loss record?

 

This^^^. Don't put too much judgement into how your Cardinals played against the Braves.

I also have a lot of respect for the Cardinals and how they run their organization.

As for the Braves, going to be a season requiring patience and perseverance. All of those winning years...

I cant tell whats worse, the Twins or the Dodger bullpen.

 

Unfortunately for the Twins bullpen, they will never face the Twins lineup. 79 strikeouts in 7 games??? Woof!

 

I really, really, really frigging hate when Bryce Harper has the game winning hit against us. Can't stand that guy. He's a ball player but a douche.

 

I feel ya man. He is one hell of a ball player but he is intolerable to me. Not his play style either I just hate all that "where's my ring" shit.

Surprisingly Harper is incredibly nice in person. He's a hustler and rubs a lot of people the wrong way but damn is he good.

 

I don't buy it. In front of cameras maybe. Hustler? He got benched last year for lack of hustle. However, his bat speed is incredible, his arm is strong and he's pretty quick. And he currently owns the Braves pitching staff (weak this year) which means I will continue to hate him.

 

It's early in the season and i have respect for the Cardinals organization being a life long Pirates fan!Hopes that are teams represent the division winner and a wild card representative instead of the Cubs!Good luck it's early Tyler!
