That Tacoma looks well taken care of and doesn't look like a 14 year old truck. After the new frame, it looks like it could last at least 14 more years.

Good luck OP, she'll be even more pristine when you get her back. Did they hook you up with a rental?

Haha I had a 2016 Camry when my '04 was getting serviced for a couple weeks. Take my advice and try not to get used to the awesome mileage you'll get with that Corolla, because you'll miss it when you get your truck back lol.

Im kinda suprised even though youre 20 that they werent keen to hookin you up with the rental, specially since it was through the stealership. Good it worked out though!

I'm debating on whether or not to get a lift for my truck while the fame is being replaced. Can anyone recommend a good one? I drive about 80% highway, 20% off road (hunting). Want about 2-3 inches, and have $1000 limit or so

So my parts may have came in? Just got a letter from my dealership listing 16 different part numbers have came in, 1 saying "frame sub assembly" and to call the service department.

Just talked to the dealer and my frame came in! That was pretty quick, a little over a month. They said it should be ready sometime next week.

My 03 is being worked on this week.

Mind keeping us updated with parts, etc covered? I'll do the same on my end.

Also, got quoted $650 for the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat replacement. I gave them the go ahead, seems like a decent price.

Parts included? That's not bad for the dealership doing it.

They gave me a 2016 Lava DCLB Sport. Thing is massive, sunroof is a nice touch though.

I had my frame on my 02 replaced about 2 years ago, drove like a brand new truck. Since sold it for a 15, it had 200000+ mi. Congrats on the new frame, get it rustproofed if your near salt.

Nowhere near salt now, but might do it anyways.

The service advisor told me that I will be getting my truck back this week. I'm beyond existed. It's been in the shop longer than I've owned it lol.
