For a stock coil and shock with many miles..yes. Just old and sagging.

You're not stock anymore. You're lifted, your 5100s are not set at the 0'' setting so you are preloading your coils for lift.

Thank you again, hopefully putting my kings on this week. Also hoping they aren't gonna lift my front over 2 inches. Don't really know how to tell where they're set ha.

Anybody know of a fuel cell mod or replacement to put the gas tank (not oe, but a different one) in where the spare tire goes, more towards the center and back. Any helpful input would be appreciated. Pic for attention.

I did the exact same thing, i just put on Kings when my stock suspension looked like yours does now.

If you just barely tighten the collars down so there is no preload at all on the coils, you'll get 0'' lift, but you'll see a gain of about 1-1.5'' because your stock setup is sagging so low. And it'll ride great.

From there, i can't help you, there is no predetermined amount that'll net you X amount of lift. But the beauty is, you can just adjust them till you like it.

None that you can just buy. Be a custom job.

I was just going to ask on your thread. Lol. Yeah, pretty sure you'd have to mock up mounts and run lines. With LT (SUA) do you think it would clear the axles bump? I'm willing to do it but I'd wanna see if anyone has done that before me without putting a fuel cell like against the cab.

So do you think yellow line is stock maybe? If so I guess I need to find a spanner wrench thing.

Put them on the truck first and then just adjust to where you like it. Make sure after you adjust them to drive the truck around some and then measure or whatever. You can also just stick a bar in a hole to turn it, but you risk screwing up the holes like that, not unless your bar has a snug fit. Spanner wrench is better.

Humm I know of a ford fuel tank that can fit back there and I know of some guys that did it. I wished I paid more attention to them when they did the mod. I could ask them for the write up and post it to your build when I find it.

Didn't know you could do that, the adjusting on the truck part, probably just find a spanner... Do it right the first time.

I have a thread to show you. Lemme find it.

No sure. It'll be tight and may end up being a small tank without hanging down too low.

Possibly. Couldn't say for sure but looks like it would be

It's probably set to 2.5-3" right now.

That's cool. Gives me something to work with. I appreciate it much guys. Yeah, having the fuel cell off to the side totally throws off the geometry and dynamics of the vehicle. I'm going to look more into this. If you guys see anything else shoot it into my build. Thx.
