You guys have to let the CVT folks in on it, I'd like to see their rebuttal.

In their defense Instagram loses some quality. Hope they at least keep the post, ha.

Tepui finally took down my picture lol, locks like CVT,icon, and pelfrey all thought it was funny.

It happens often, sometimes I'll have pictures reposted saying I have this or that but I've never even owned anything from their brand. What ever gets the likes I guess

Is is a good shot, probably one of the few people who have went through with a RTT, and you don't see obstacles like that most places

Still need to cycle the front and the rear to finish the trimming but they are bolted on and very sturdy now. Also got the water out of my headlights for the most part, I have waterspots on he inside on the housing but I can live with that for now.

Nice, well so far I've only cut the fronts to where it curves to the bottom side, and near the bottom Ive only taken out a little bit. The rears were only cut for the highclearence nothing else, so technically I haven't really taken anything out besides the bottom side of the flare, Im hoping since Im not LT Ill be able to clear will very minimal trimming like 1" at most.

I used a dremel plugged into the truck with a wood/plastic blade, it throws all the shit in your face while your cutting but my lines came out pretty clean and straight. Hopefully tomorrow ill be able to get some of the final trimming done if I get off early

Ive only driven the truck once since I put them on but I'm pretty happy so far with the extra coverage and being bolted on now.

Well decided to get a head start on tomorrow, Pulled the front suspension to cycle it real quick and see what it looks like. Also some shitty pictures of the flares

Ended up using 1/4-20 x 1 1/4" hardware with washers, neither are stainless so ill have to paint them or plastidip them for the time being.

[IMG]DSC06184 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr
[IMG]DSC06185 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr

Then I dropped it on the bumps to see how much I need to trim

So it looks about .75" needs to be trimmed in the front, rear will likely just need the bottom lip removed. Im trying to avoid cutting too much out of the front flares, so I may remove .5" out and see where that takes me. In reality I wont ever see that rubbing for DD purposes and removing the flares is quick and easy now that they are bolt on so I may just pull them when I wheel.

Also cleaned up my coilovers a little, of course no picture but they are looking pretty nasty especially since they are coated with that fluid film that collects all that gunk. Took the time to clean out my uniballs as well, noticed my passenger side is starting to develop play but its very minimal at this point and should last me though the next winter.

Tomorrow should be an early day for me so hopefully Ill be able to get some stuff done.

Forgot to add, my driver side headlight seems to be doing well but the passenger side is still fogging up on me pretty good. So tomorrow I'm going to try one more time and if that doesn't do the trick then I guess its time for BHLM but maybe more of a smoked look rather than black
