You have a lot on your plate Blue.
    So sad.

    Hi Rob... :)

Last day of rain here today. Then 5 days of clear weather if they are correct. Looks like the boat will get wet this weekend. Lots of outside stuff to do too. I need 4 day weekends.

    Morning Mike, and thanks.

Truck is good, quite different from the Tacoma, but Kristi and I are both enjoying it.

4 day weekends ... I'd be happy if they'd go back to 3 day weekends and four ten hr shifts at work. When I came to Alaska on active duty in 2001, that's what the civil service guys were working. Now only every other weekend is a 3 day. Eight 9 hr shifts and one 8 hr shift every two week pay cycle.

In the Summer I could go for fish or hunt 5 and work 2. ;)

Just don't have words for this. :( So tragic, sad, and frustrating. Thoughts and prayers for your family, especially your sister.

Uhhhggggg! Boss has been out of town. He got in late last night and his first day back is ALWAYS hell on earth for the rest of us.

48 degrees, calm, dark, and clear skies. Up to 80's by the Sunday.

Antibiotics kicking in....Infection down, so kidney related back ache moderating.....which is a good thing.

I had a long talk with my sister yesterday. Her grandson shot himself..... My wife and I had a 14 year old grand daughter that killed herself a few years ago. Anyway, we talked about the feelings of guilt, the feeling that you could have done more, the feeling that you "just missed the signs"..... And I did everything possible to convince her that these things just happen....more these days than ever before. And it's NOT "your fault"....Quit trying to apply logic or common sense to a senseless and illogical event...Quit trying to assign blame. You'll NEVER understand why it happened....You will NEVER "get over it". But, in time, you will accept it and realize there was nothing you could have done. It was an impulse decision by a troubled mind....a mind that got to the state it was in by NOT opening up to someone else and looking for help.

Good Morning Folks! Glad the antibiotics are working blue. I finally had the two MRI's yesterday on my neck and right shoulder. It was a lot better than my attempt last week in a closed unit that did not go good. I bailed out after a few minutes and had to reschedule at a different location for a more open unit. Lol. Waiting to see what the doctor says. Everyone have a great day! :)

    Morning all.

I've never experienced suicide in my family, but I have been around two occurrences in units to which I was assigned on active duty. The military puts a lot of time into training suicide prevention, but honestly in the two cases I was close to, NO ONE HAD A CLUE OR MISSED ANYTHING.

Those machines are uncomfortable. I haven't needed an MRI recently, but it's nice that technology has improved to where more comfortable roomy machines are an option. Hope the diagnosis goes well.

    Morning al!

    Start of softball season!
1st practice yesterday. I knew I was gonna be extremely sore this morning. I scheduled a half day at work today knowing that I would have trouble just moving my a$$ out of bed.
    Guess what... I was right.
Double dose of Aleve and I should be good to go in a couple hours. LOL.

Amen to that. I can't count the times I've watched the supposed "grownups" do all kinds of crap to the detriment of the kid(s) caught in the middle. My poor niece is going through that right now with her ex.

Look out folks the FiatChrysler :spy: is among us! :p
