hahhahahaha, sorry mate... I dont have too much sympathy.... but the same thing happened to me!
turns out I may be selling mine as they raise me up just the tiny bit that I lacked from hitting the moon roof bezzel.

Can I ask you which cheap seat covers you were going to purchase. I am finding a hard time identifying any that fit at least decent and are waterproof or at least resistant and do not cost a ton. Many of the coverkings cost more than the Clazzios.

Not that long to be honest.

Not sure if anyone else has the problem.

But it's like any other leather even oem will raise and puff a bit over time. I just didn't think it would happen this quick. Regardless im still happy with it.

my brothers lexus has it on his oem leather too

Installed my clazzio's. Totally love them, used the "tacomaworld" coupon code these turned out so smooth no wrinkles I put katzkins in my 2014 tacoma and they had wrinkles. I like these more .Cost much less and much easier to install and in a few years I could remove them and the stock seat fabric will be in mint condition or order replacement fronts20160408_141236.jpg

Here is a pic from the TIS manual showing g the clips on the rear seat seat belt holder. Should make popping that piece out much easier.

The only thing I don't like about the Clazzios is with the padding they take away some of the side bolstering of the seats. It makes the seat look too flat.

May be true but it makes the seats feel firmer to me which is more comfortable.

I have to agree, they do feel more comfortable with the extra layer of cushion and leather. I also get better air circulation behind my back with the perforated inserts so for now they feel cooler. We'll see how they feel at the peak of summer.

Not too worried though, all three of my vehicles have black interiors so I'm pretty used to it.

Wow...had to walk away a couple of times after trying to reinstall that cover. I'll try again tomorrow - I got to close to snapping it in half from frustration.

Be warned about Coverking. I spent nearly $500 for Neosupremes for wifes 2016 Escape. Exact two tone color match. Quick easy install. Puffy in quite a few spots after over 3 months of use. They never fit as good as these Clazzio. They have gaps where you can have a spill. They require maintenance. The front lowers tend to rotate from getting in and out over time. How many good threads have you seen on TW about CoverKings. Zilch. Save your money. Look at another brand. Research reviews. Just being honest. The wife is happy. She can beach now with less worries. Did put MAXFLOORMAT liners in there cheap. They are awesome.

hum, no doubt they do not look as nice as Clazzio. m not sure what other brands to research. The 100 ones on Amazon look like crap. Anything of any quality is thick and puts me too high in the cab... maybe I should look closer at modifying the sunroof bezzel and just keep the clazzios. I am a little suprised that with zero dark grey in stock no one has jumped on purchasing the ones I have up for sale here.

Keep at it. My fingers were pretty sore afterward, but figured it out. Well worth it.

Hope someone can help. Installing my seat covers today. Where do the strings go on the front bottom seat on each side? I know the instructions say to let the outside one go through the plastic and under the seat. Just want to make sure I put them in the right spot so the don't get damaged by the seat track or reclining mechanism. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

had same question. They didnt say other than tie them together. Emailed the question and didnt get a great answer. The inboard side has some issues whether or not you route around seatbelt and or wire. if you find the best answer let folks know. The instructions do not help here as they left it out. Also, if you have heated seats you will see an additional wire that their instructions do not show. you need to cut the clazzio there to get it to fit.
