Okay, so I have used the search tool and read hundreds of posts. I'm pretty sure I know what to do in my situation, but just want some experienced advice. Here goes-
I have an 07 DCLB and initially put bilstein's on all 4 corners and wheelers AAL in the rear. Front set at 1.75 (3rd clip setting) Super happy with that setup. Put 275/65/16 on and called it a day. NOW, I recently put a trail gear front bumper and have lost the lift I had. I m looking at OME 885's to regain the mild lift. Question is, with 885's would I need new UCA's or diff drop? And how would ride quality be affected? Also, I do NOT have plans to get a winch with this setup. I'll cross that bridge if I get to it. Also I do some mild off roading ( lone star jamboree every year) and such.

I have the 886's with a bumper and winch. If you don't want that much lift then go for the 885's as you mentioned. You may or may not be able to get away with stock UCA. You could always put the new springs in run the stock uCA and see if you can get it aligned to your liking. If not order the UCA afterwards.

Things to consider though is if you decide to add skid plates, sliders, or a winch you may have to change out the springs again (as you mentioned) it may be worth it to just go with the 886 or even the 887's (don't know if you can run those on the billies) and get it out of the way. Don't bother with the diff drop. Many threads on it not being worth the effort (may be worth your peace of mind).

Billies and Eibachs, Camburg BJ UCAs, Demello hybrid sliders SOS HC rear bumper, SOS front bumper, Warn M80000, fully armored, Safari snorkel, No-slip locker, diff breather, bumper and roof mounted light bars, onboard Viair, 275/70 17 BFG ATs, and a badass sound system.
So I got a set of 886 coils on the way. Right now I'm running a toytec AAL in the rear and billies all around. I'm hoping that when all is said and done I am not sitting with a bro-lean. How likely is that? anyone else running this set up?

I have been researching OME kits since I bought the truck 6 months ago. I have a DCSB Prerunner. I wanted to confirm with yall the experts. I have ordered the stock kit from the group buy, so 885 coils, with only the lean spacer, and dakars in the back. From what I have ready this is going to put my truck close to 3" but I should be able to barely get it in alignment or closed enough.

    Questions:
Will I need extended break lines in the rear?
Will this give my truck a rake?

Fromwhat I've read you don't need extended brake lines but some options for them&it will have a little rake to it but there is a post on this thread is think that says to pull out the 3rd leaf I believe it was but I'd double check that

Thanks, I am ok with a little rake.

I plan on getting UCAs in the next 8 months just cant swing the kit and UCAs at the same time right now. Relocate bracket for the break lines?

Thank you so much! I feel a lot better now, I will go ahead and get the OME bearing drop kit so it will be here when the kit gets here!

Sweet, I did get them assembled with the drivers side lean spacer. I am waiting on the kit to arrive now:popcorn::annoyed:

I think I was confusing the bearing drop kit with the Front Diff Drop Kit. That is what is required for 4wds correct?

Those who have done this lift on a 4x4, what gas mileage impact if any did you see and what is the consensus on vibration issues or not? I bought my Taco as a daily driver and eventual trail rig replacement (have a lifted 05 Xterra I use for most trails / off-roading). Hoping to lift and not lose the current positives of the truck.

No real impact to MPGs from lifting the truck. My MPG hit came from bigger tires and gearing.

As for vibes, some people get them and some don't. I've had two different OME lifts on my truck and didn't get vibes from either. My suggestion for vibes is to not take steps to alleviate them prior to doing our while installing your lift but wait until its installed to see if you actually get them.
