Yes. It works great, up until this last software release. It has some bugs I'm trying to figure out. Otherwise it works great whether 500' in the Cub or 45,000ft in the jet. Certainly recommend it.

I'm thinking Ponca City, OK (KPNC) is a good candidate for dinner tonight. Weather looks like it should be clear into the evening!

Haven't flown a single engine in a couple years, but I am hoping to get back into GA this year or next. I learned in a Citabria and tailwheel flying is kne of my favorite things ever.

I'm a huge fan of Foreflight. We use Jepp charts primarily, but I use Foreflight as well. I've heard of Stratux but I haven't used it. What does it have that Foreflight and JeppView are lacking?

Just launched a newly redesigned website, what to you guys think?

    www.claremoreairport.com

Any suggestions from fellow pilots would be great!

I liked it as very simple and fast website to read ... with fuel prices and hours of fuel operations listed.

Plus, you emphasized that it was not congested (easy and fast in and out).

What about food types there and hours of operations ??

That's my kind of flying, I'm a big fan of tailwheel - it's the only way to fly.

Stratux is a do it yourself ADS-B receiver compatible with most EFBs. Same idea as Stratus from Sporty's for 1/6 the price.

Well, my flight out to Ponca City for mexican food didn't turn out the way I had planned. I had a vacuum failure right as I reached my cruising altitude. Deciding that I did not want to fly the return leg at night without an artificial horizon, I headed back home. I recorded the intercom on this flight and it took me a minute and 20 seconds to notice the problem, diagnose it, and make the decision to turn back. That 1:20 felt so long! I'm really bummed because I could not have asked for a more perfect VFR evening and night to go fly. Calm winds and not a cloud in the sky....Oh well.

Looks good and clean. I'd put some music to the video though.

Thanks, I've got someone working on putting some music to the video. That was just the raw footage edit.

Looks like they are preparing to hand prop (start) the engine. Probably no tail wheel and the guy in the back is probably ballast so it doesn't nose over when the engine fires off. Looks like an old US Postal Service biplane
