Both rear windows' seal, the top area, are not sticking to the frame like the rest of the seal or like the front windows' seal. They were this way from day 1. The dealer ordered and replaced with new ones and now they are worst than before. I noticed other trucks on the lot having the same issue. Is this normal? If they are this way because of the glass pushed it out, why the fron't seal don't do this?

Water will for sure get in and spill to the sides and eventually the side seal will come off too?

Anyone else noticed this on their dc?

    Thanks

Yup, that's the area I was talking about. I looked and they put some sort of adhesive at 2 spots which is not enough to hold the whole top area flat to the metal frame. I'll try to take some pics.

This is not about the rear sliding window above the bed.

I also have the 2009 TT, TRD and both my rear window seals have been replaced twice and im getting ready to take it back for a third time. I can walk up and put my fingers in the seal...Water is collecting in the track.
Toyota says thats how they are made....i asked why the front is not like that then...No answer....Thumbs down this is my first toyota and if they won't resolve i will trade it in.

You're honestly going to judge an entire brand name just because of this one little issue?

I have a 2011 DC and I noticed the seal from the top of my rear window sticking down about two or three days after driving her off the lot. So, I shoved it back up in there and it came down a few days later. WTF!? So, are you guys just taking it back to the dealer??

I have NEVER owned a vehicle that did that...

Just to be clear before I go check mine out, we're talking about the sliding rear window seal? I've never opened it before.

No. Mine is coming down from the very back window bit not the slider...its the window behind the rear passenger.

I found this thread while searching for this exact problem. It's the seal on the rear window right behind and above the rear passenger on the passenger side. The seal is dropping down at what appears to be a seam in the seal. I've pushed it back up a few times but it always ends up coming loose and dropping back down. I'm worried that it will eventually leak unless I find a more permant fix.

Has anyone done anything or had anything done by the dealer to fix this...........???

    EDIT
My truck was made down in Baja......................
