Ok what I did was make the slits that hold the light bar a little more deeper in the bumper. By that I mean I cut it deeper to get my lightbar closer to the bumper (light bar opening). Remember though I got an SOS so they're made different

Yeah I need to do that too! What are the size of the tabs? Mine are 22 inches apart so it's a inch longer than the bar

Same but then how did the bar fit? It's almost half inch on each side?

Any way you could send a pic of the bar and how it looks where it mounts? I'm curious how the space on each side didn't affect the bar

I used the smaller bolts that came with the lightbar and only needed one spacer on each side

I have a buddy that used small nylon spacers (about 1/2" thick) for his behind the grill lightbar. Much better that using a large nut IMO. The nylon allows for some flex to you don't have to over tighten everything and holds the lightbar in place. Using just a nut or flat washers, driving vibrations could case your light to shift out of position and angle upward. I've seen it on the trail. Dude turned on his lightbar and it was pointing 45 degrees up and is completely useless for providing any light to see down the road. He said it "always does that". I find that unacceptable. If it always does that, FIX IT! Told him about nylon spacers and showed him mine (I used thinner nylon washers for all my lights)- problem solved.

Definitely want to build some type of storage drawers in my truck, looking at pricing and what it takes to build. Thinking maybe diamond plating the top depending on price. Anyone have any price ranges? 100-200? 300-400?

That's the gap I got from touching the bumper also and what it looks like while not right on top of it.
