    While I was underneath my Tacoma taking off the bumper lip I noticed this...

    Looks like it's coming from the power steering pump. I've been watching the fluid level and it hasn't gone down past the minimum but there's enough of a leak for accumulation. I've got an appointment fir the dealer tomorrow so I'll find out for sure what it is. Also having them check a whirring noise when coming to a stop.

    Yep of course. Should be an easy fix from what I can tell, hopefully it's not at the shop too long.

    I am not that familiar with that shot, but the sight of fluid and it looks like that should be capped. Not sure I will have to take a look at mine. keep us posted..btw did you have any PS symptoms or did you just happen to run across it?

    It's from underneath looking up on the passenger side of the motor. The drips start at the bottom of the power steering pump from what I can tell. Nope no issues with the steering and the reservoir is still full just ran across it while I was underneath it.

    Ha, yeah I thought about that but this was one of the fluids that wasn't low, well initially anyways.

    Yeah I'll update tomorrow with the findings. I can't imagine I'll have any issues getting it fixed, it's clearly something defective and it only has 2500 miles on it.
