    That's going to be tough to do since the poly/bearing portion is free floating. I'll see if I can get it locked down and get you a ball park. I hope you're not hoping for a +/- .0001 on this measurement. o_O

    Half assed it and I'm coming up with 1.939 from the flats to the center. I'm going to take it to work in the morning and set it up on the comparator.

    So this one is 1.939 from mounting surface to center and OE is 1" from mounting surface to center. :thumbsup: I didn't have my old one as I threw it away so I couldn't check. Thanks for that!

    If I am noticing correctly here, the way it works for long beds is that the carrier bearing and rear end mount up directly proportional to how much of a lift you have. A near 1/1 propoetional ratio. The stock 4 pack TSB leafs are a total of .75" in height. The carrier bearing from mounting point to center is about 1" drop total. So basically, however much lift you got is how tall you will need the carrier bearing to be. I am .25" off from being 2.25" on the CB compared to the 2.25" leaf pack I got. This explains why I do not experience any vibration whatsoever with mine. As I am within a 1 degree tolerance which the shaft allows for "slop" before it vibrates. If we were running one piece shafts there would be a very small window of tolerance to keep it from vibrating.


    Just an observation I noticed. Whether or not I am right I am not sure, but I do have to be very close to my tolerances, as take off shimmy and all speeds are very smooth across the board.
