    Well here's a rough drawing of how I mounted it. The black line is just a piece of angle iron from home depot. The blue line is a 3/4"x5" metal strip.

    A 3' long piece fit great in there with no cutting. Does that make sense?

    Mine's a 30 and barely fit, but our lower valences are different. You should have no problem fitting one. As far as wiring it up, do some research on how to use a relay. A little complicated at first, but once you understand them it's easy to wire up.

    My mount is similar to above, I used one inch square aluminum tubing with self tapping screws attaching it to the crash bars. I did have to drill a larger hole on the top wall to allow access with a socket for the self tappers.
