Dealer reused the old ones and told me not to worry. The bad news is that I did not net the lift from the new rear springs that I was hoping for and will be buying taller blocks with new ubolts anyways.

Appreciate the advice on not using old ubolts

Leaf springs replaced. New springs, mounting bolts for springs and hangers, u-bolts, saddles, and lower shock bolt.
It does feel firmer, but sags a bunch. Springs are almost flat. I'll be pulling the pack apart to put my AAL in. Dealer gave me my AAL back along with the old u-bolts, and old saddles.

Here she is with the squats.

Thanks Much !!! Just FYI for others. They do not carry the original length OEM - just U longer Ubolts. Per Wheelersoffroad
    "
We don't have stock length. Shortest we offer are 6.75" Long.

    Wheeler's Off-Road, Inc. "

    Thanks anyway "

Leaf springs replaced yesterday on my 09'. I ordered new hardware for my lower perches for my Firestone airbags. One suggestion before going in. Hit your leaf spring and shackle hardware with PB blaster few days in advance. The services techs will appreciate it.

    Wouldn't you like to know!

Just had the truck in for maintenance @ Autonation Austin and the service manager had told me they would start doing the spring recall sometime this year, possibly in the fall. Again this is just word of mouth so who knows if it is true or not but they need to get the ball rolling!

I'm going in to get my leaf springs replaced on Friday. My plan is to install an add-a-leaf after I get it back from the dealer. Has anyone installed an add-a-leaf with the replacement leaf springs? The new brackets that are welded onto the leaf pack make me wonder if I'll run into issues installing the add-a-leaf.

Had step one of this two step recall done on 4/16, I'm now being told that it could be up to two months before the parts arrive, what kind of bullshit is this

    Same as everybody else...
Dealer called me today, I get my replacement leaf springs installed next week. I have to give the dealer credit as this has been a pretty smooth venture. I was expecting a hassle but so far so good.

Going through this thread for the first time in a while... I just got inspected last Friday and I'm getting the replacements. The tech initially said I didn't need the new springs because I had "6 leaf springs"! I told him I had an add-a-leaf and I would go back to stock before the new install. They said they would put the springs on order and call when they arrived. You should probably just go to a different dealership and try again.

In last group, early May my ass.....I have 2015 oem 4 leaf packs on my 08 RC that had 5k miles on them replacing the lame 3 leaf pack it came with. They have 2 clamps up front by gas tank. I'd be interested in part numbers too. Like to know what would be even different from what I have besides less miles. Not real thrilled about dealership ever touching my truck even for free. Been thru that bs nightmare merry go round with the 05 AC. 2015 4x4s aren't even included in recall Might be non-issue, that'd be great.

Mine look like the pics above only I don't have the additional clamp right behind the axle. You can see the 2 clamps up front to the right of the tank skid..........
