Guy rolled his 2016 taco on its side

nothing wrong with hitting a trail in a 2wd Tacoma, they are still pretty capable. but not so much a good idea to go alone..

 

Cleghorn main trail is doable in a 2 wheel drive car if you're careful. I have seen built prerunners make a few of the side trails but not many.

 

I think it's pretty cool that there is a page dedicated for people who are willing to help someone that had bad luck off roading. That's a pretty good use of social networking. That mofo got so lucky with the damage.

 

yeah you're right ..I took my 2016 stock 2WD DCLB and made it through w 2 other 2wd ...With good spotters and some clearance it's doable ....idk if I'll be doing it again lol its cleghorn I think this part was after where the white tacos laid down

yeah I know that was not part of the plan but the outcome was we all got out safe...I love these truck's capabilities it surprised me I can say that for a new stock truck

When I bought my 2wd tacoma it was also because I didn't want to allow temptation to get the best of me and take new truck on any hardcore Wheelin trails.
If I had a 4x4 I'd probably be out there too haha

Being my first new vehicle, you guys can have the pin stripes and other Wheelin rashes.

 

Does anyone know if the computer automatically kills the engine in that kind of situation ? Also I was thinking, depending on where the oil pickup is located in the pan he may not be pumping oil to the engine if its still running.

 

perfect opportunity to grease the driveshaft. driver side mirrors are not required by law anyways.

 

Funny Tacoma rolls over slightly. Little damage and airbags don't deploy.

Sorta got tired of beating the taco and making pin stripes while on the trail but mostly wanted to go harder..so I built a crawler. And harder I went lmao.

 

probably tipped cause the tranny fluid was low from the factory.

 

I bet he got tippy because there wasn't any grease in the u-joints from the factory..
