Revtek Spacer Lift.....

I got my Revtek spacer lift and i gotta say i am very impressed. I dont know what you guys were going off about, these things are pretty nice, the suspension is a little stiffer which is what i wanted because it takes turns alot better now, and i do get alittle vibration when i take off but thats probably nothing and im not complaining. But this lift is temporary, later on im gonna do 4 bilstein 5100s or maybe a 6 inch lift if i can save up

 

get shims to help with he bvibes and at least you liek what you spent a buttload on! nad a front diff drop for the front diff you dont have...not trying to be mean sorry had a few drink s and if someone tried to sell me a front diff drop kits thingy i would be pissed.

Well I guess as long as you like it that is what matters. I just didn't see the reasoning of buying a temporary lift for $800. You are already planning 5100s or a six inch lift. The $800 would have already paid for the 5100s or could have been saved toward your six inch kit.

well my dad payed for all of it as a moving away gift, but when i say temporary i mean like 4 years down the road probably or something. but like i said before, i feel blessed and thankful that my Dad provided me with a lift. But im gonna work harder in helping us move to show my appreciation.

 

Colin.......i have a few carrier bearing spacers i made(just got a lil scrap at work again)......let me know if you want 2 of them. they will prolly get rid of the vibes you have.

yeah bro....easy as pie. loosen both bolts that hold the bearing on....take one out...put spacer in....screw bolt back in a bit..then do other side...then tighten them up. here is the write up i did on them...

that does sound like an easy install, but your thread said you had vibrations at 40-55 mph speeds, mine are right when you accelerate from a dead stop, know it cant be my bed is bouncing because i know what it feels like and my leaf springs arent that strong enough to bounce the bed

 

well man....i sent out a ton of spacers to people for vibes at different speeds.......taking off,slowing down,low speed,high speed.....and all of them said the spacers eliminated the vibes....so i dont think your case will be any different. just let me know if you want them.

 

Glad you like it! I almost did one of these lifts last summer, but talked myself out of it to save up for some blistens all around.

 

Ill be glad to take them, im gonna install them secretly when my dad doesnt know because he doesnt need to worry about my truck
