There was a small group of Tacoma Bros here on the forum that I met up with for lunch a couple times. Cool guys, but more of a form over function approach to their vehicles (CB antennas with no radios, 4x4 mud guards on a Pre Runner...). To each their own.

I am excited to drink beer and watch @northwesttaco swap out his first broken CV axle. Those gears, that locker, the BBC length axles, them big ol' tires. Going to be a fun day!

If anything it'll be someone running stock axles. At least TC extended ones are 4340 chromoly

 

I didn't know they also had lockers.

Shouldn't be an issue, as long as you don't go full retard. Plus, pulling the CV's is easy

 

Have you seen the post where a guy used some steel wire looped around the cv and then looped around a sledge and yanked it out that way? I Picked up the wire to try it out, looks pretty slick. Should allow you to yank the axle without dropping skids.

I was throwing a synthetic line on when my winch lost power. Haven't looked at it much to see why
