Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

I figured from the pic the dents and damage were earned over time. Strapping beer down is certainly tribal knowledge.

For people that don't off road but need extra traction getting up boat ramps or something like that.

Still 2WD. Don't call it the offroad then, call it the "PreRunner + Locker 'Boat Ramp' Edition"

Its still the TRD off road package.. just missing the 4wd part. The package doesn't change whether its 2 or 4wd.

The low speed of the transfer case (4Low) could have allowed him to go slower down the obstacle and pick a better line. Possibly, depending on how he rolled, his tires wouldn't have slipped causing him to roll. You have a lot more control the slower you're able to go.

They would not be able to justify the cost of a TRD Off Road model if they sold it in the numbers that the 4x4 models sell. There would be, perhaps, 10% more 4x4OR models sold if there were no 4x2OR because people will still want the Off Road model but the 4x2OR is produced and sold around 8:1 to the 4x4OR models. It's even higher than that in some regions

just to let you know, the 4x2 Sport outsells the 4x4 Sport in all configurations around 15:1

reread the thread... so that's Cleghorn, friend of mine had a 4runner setup for trails just like that. Jawbone Canyon is fun. Calico in certain parts can be a challenge. The TRD OFFROAD 2wd, good for the valley floor, but certainly would not consider Cleghorn. Calico, Jawbone or any other areas similar to those. Might head up there next week, curious to see how nasty it is.

I was thinking speed may have been a factor, but looking at the recovery pic, it seems like he was barely moving.
