I'm running a 125 Kicker amp with a 10 inch sub, it keeps blinking red and it says it's in protection mode? I've touched it when it was running and it was pretty damn hot. Any insight would help guys
    Thank you.

Any chance you can provide a bit more detail - like equipment specifics? Were you using it in the same manner for years and this just happened all of a sudden? Attacked by a minotaur & then it started? New install? Hard to tell much with what you've provided.

Hooked up to a 10 inch Alpine. the amp is a 120 watt kicker dx amp. installed about 3 years ago. when i got my new sub the amp was running really hot, i figured it was over working so i turned the bass down, then fast foward a week ago, i was sitting in the parking lot jamming out to some rock and all of a sudden the amp started blinking red and went into protection mode, then the sub just went out. i read the manual and it said if its blinking red the "powrr source" could be the problem. so i have no idea.
