So is anybody gonna be doing any simple/easy Mods on Saturday? Door sills, decals, lights...etc

 

Idk, but i do know i will working on my beer mod lol
And maybe a bbqing mob if its ok.
I should just call and see about bbqing.

 

Prepping for a light weight mod on Saturday. Currently Easy Gliding my way on this Prinsu rack so one or two of you kind gents can help me lift it onto my cab at Hangar.

 

So I called them, and apparently their license specifically says they can't have any food prepared on their property, which means as of last year they stopped allowing food trucks to set up. They said we can't use a BBQ "on THEIR property [including their parking lot]." So the options are.. there are several other closed businesses to either side of hangar's property, if someone wants to bring a BBQ (mine is old and barely functional) then we can coordinate bringing a potluck, or they also allow us to bring food on to their property as long as it's prepared before it gets to their property, so we can plan on ordering pizzas. What do you guys think?

 

Whatever is easiest. As I mentioned in a previous post I live 10 mins East of the brewery and have never seen anyone grill on or around the premises. There's nothing decent in that immediate area since it lies in the middle of orange groves. Pizza makes sense for this amount of heads. I'll be eating before I go and then heading to downtown Redlands to the college district for a couple brews and bar food.

 

I don't care about food. I'm just staying for a couple for hrs.

 

So direct. Roger that. This man does not care. He is only there for 2 hrs. Haha

 

I'll be BYOF'ing .. so it's up to whoever else is coming if they want to do something. Likewise, I've never seen anyone cook in their parking lot since most people come for the beer, stay for the beer. Whatever the deal is, we can't BBQ on their property out of respect for the business. Otherwise, a few beers, some good bullshitting, looking at some badass trucks, then off for Saturday night.

Oh and the obligatory disclaimer: drink responsibly or bring a DD if you need one.

 

Seems like a real hassle to set any bbq, maybe while we're there we can set up the next one in a different place bbq friendly, maybe change the city, I don't know just saying. And the couple hrs cause I got a camping trip with the wife's family in Idyllwild later that saturday.

 

I will more than likely show up a little late because of the no food thing. Hungry Girls and no food dont mix very well
Although bbqing at surrounding areas is ok its not where we are all going to be parked.

Cool last time I went out there there was snow still and the lake was frozen.

 

I've never been. Stoked to scope out a trail or two
