So I was actually still concerned about these being in-channel versus stick on be cause of the descriptions on various websites so I just called Lund. The CS rep pulled them up and said they are stick on and the others 194768 are the in-channel. I explained that there are plenty of people who disagree and these are also in-channel. She did a little more digging and confirmed that these are in-channel but low profile which is perfect. Thanks, and I did print the rebate coupon.

May be the word "derp" is so odd that it stands out more than people who say "dipped", "Plasti'd" or other. When I got here about 6 months ago, I tried to Google "derp" to figure out what is was. Think I'm gonna name my dog "Derp"

photo(5).jpgInstalled these Matte Black slim in-channel autoventshades. I sell/install a lot of these at my shop and these are probably the best quality i've seen from AVS in a while. Very happy with them. And they match the fender flares on the Off-Road!

The shaving looks like they stripped a thread off of one of the bolts so I wouldn't be concerned with that. As for the rest of the truck I'm sorry bud that sucks. I have nothing but positive things to say about mine and haven't had any problems with mine except I like to spend too much money on it. I would take the truck in over the leafs or just use that as an excuse to get Dakars in the back for your lift.

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
Size on the Cooper's? Any lift or rubbing?
I'm really wanting the Cooper SST PRO's over the KO2's.

I think it's just how they engineer the springs for ride and such. I've had 3 previous Tacomas and all 3 had flat leaf springs after a while.

It looks like they tried to sort of copy the old STT or Toyo MT, both of which performed well. I don't care who you are, all mud terrain type tires will make noise, it's just part of the game. Turn up the tunes! It helps with the Mrs. too!
