Window Tint

This isn't necessarily true. I have had 3 different vehicles tinted professionally right on top of existing factory tint with no problems.

 

I'm getting the back 5 done very dark. The atuo dimming mirror doesn't cut enough light at night for my slow pupils

There is no film on the 5 back windows from the factory.

 

I got all my cars/trucks tinted at UMBRA in Schaumburg - one of the best tint shops in the country

 

After three weeks you've got what you got.


If you want clarity spend double and get ceramic ha.

Truck is at the tint shop. Getting limo 5% on the rear 5, and 30% up front to keep cops off of us in CA

5% on the backs, 18% in the fronts.

 

Omg the rear is so dark. You cannot see in even if you cup your hands around your face and try to peer in.

We went with 35% on the front doors to keep the cops off us, but with the back being blacked out, there is no light to pass back out of the front doors so they are obviously tinted and they look very dark.... Ehh

 

I asked for 20% in the front and 40% in the rear, but they ended up doing 20% all around, making the back slightly darker. Regardless I like it, thankfully 20% is legal here.

 

35% up front and, after the math of 20% die and 5% film, 1% in the rear.... It's very dark back there!

Also, you guys are paying too much for your tint jobs. 170 bucks for all 7 pieces of glass at Tint Masters in Montclair, CA. Our family has been going to Tint Masters since the 80s. Not a special price, either.

How's the visibility looking it from the inside with limo in the back?

 

Just had mine done today 20% front windows.

 

Just curious if anybody with window tint has or has used a tint called solar gard.
It seems to be the only one offered in my area.also has a lifetime warranty. Any insights would be great.
Or any recomendations on tint brand.

 

Mine was tinted with the solar gard galaxy stuff (20 percent all around). No issues with it and it looks pretty good.

Any pics of the Air Blue 80? Does this give a color similar to the Mercedes with that blue glass from the factory, or is it a little more subtle?
