You need a torque wrench that goes OVER 150, the front axle hub nut gets torqued to 173.
Rotor falls off once you get the caliper out of the way

If you need help keep me posted, I may have time

no worries... we'll just attach the wrench to a really long bar, and use someone's winch to tighten it down :D

Eeeeeek, I definitely didn't get 173ft lbs on mine....... 130 yeah but not 173, holy shit there's parts on the new rock crusher at work that get torqued to that.

    Obligatory new crusher pic setup.

Got a few more conveyors to swing into place then run the power cables from the 800 ekW genset.

This is my little friend. I bought it partially for this job, and partially because I really wanted a nice torque wrench. My Craftsman handles the stuff below 40 if I really feel the need.

I just used a 12" crescent wrench and got it one grunt tight, which according to my hillbilly engineering conversion manual is around 170 ft lbs.

Lol! So hot but sooo good, right? I grew up adding that to noodles similiar to pho whenever my family does noodles. I squeeze lime with the broth to 'simmer' down the hotness.

280 Remington? Now that's an odd caliber.

Anyone ever see Softtopper canopies on craigslist? I would love to pick one up, but never see them on craigslist and the retail price is a little ridiculous for something that isn't quite as durable as a hard canopy.

Try checking out a marine shop that makes custom watercraft covers. They may be able to make one for your rack. I'm looking into that myself.

    Yay. Power is back.
The wind hit us pretty good yesterday. Ripped up the cover for the airstream, bent the poles that held it, took some branches off the tree and snapped one of my neighbors cherry trees in half. It ripped the roof off the research facility two doors down and took part of their wall with it. When the roof came off, it wrapped half of the metal panels around one of their trucks, the rest took out the power lines and went flying across the street after nailing the neighbors car and house.

    Hey whats up guys?

I'm moving to Bellingham Washington this June from Hawaii, and I was looking at buying new suspension when I get up there. I was wondering what kind of off roading there is up there? Is there any fast dirt roads or anything like that in that area? I am torn in between either getting king coilovers and shocks or just sticking to something less gnarly depending on what kind of trails there are. Don't want to blow money on something I wont be using too much. Thanks for the help!
