I snapped off a wheel lug last weekend , most likely do to over torqued wheel lug nut. I didn't use a torque wrench.used my impact gun. Then just muscle to insure tight.when I removed it , it was stuck, well. With a little force it snapped.

If you stretched one you probably stretched them all. I had had four out of five lugs on an old Toyota pickup snap while driving within a few seconds of each other due to being over tightened. Thankfully I was going slow and it happened right at my house. Personally, If I were you I would replace all of them.

I just got back from the dealer to have my U joint torque specs checked, and they tightened to 65ftlbs. The center support bearing to 27ftlbs. Hope this helps you guys out. I was just reading about this yesterday and made an appointment for this morning; glad I did.

By u joints do you mean the bolts that hold the driveline to the pinion flange? I just swapped my diffs so im curious. U jionts themselves dont have anything to tighten as far as i know.

Rear U bolts that hold suspension links to the axle.

Oh, u bolts , not u jionts. And i think you mean leaf springs not suspension links. Terminology is key as thise are completely different things.

Yes, you're correct. The U bolts holding down the axle to the leaf springs. Thanks for clarifying.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
As pointed out by @Chickenmunga, there were no diagram(s) or detailed torque specs for the Power Steering components. I updated the OP to include the Power Steering Diagrams for 2WD and 4WD - thanks for the heads-up Mike!

Also, @tcBob must've increased the attachment size limit on the (new) forum - so I was able to add the updated .PDF file here and at the bottom of the OP!!! Rejoice!!!
    :yay:
