Hey Brandon, do you know if this set up will work for a 2005 with either a Pelfreybilt or USOFFROAD hidden winch bumper?

    Looks great, nice work!

I'm researching this idea too. I reached out to Brandon and undercover winch mounts (on his suggestion) They both think it will work w/ some modifications. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm in for updates! The lower half of the front plate would make a great place for an anodized fairlead....

On a separate note, I got mine yesterday. To powdercoat or not to powdercoat...that is the question. It looks pretty badass bare.

Did you order one with powder? If so 10 were picked up today and are being wrapped up for shipping. We had rain here and backed up the PC process a bit.

Was this a third gen or second?

    Edit: I'm dumb...they don't sell a 2016 mount. Noted.

Sorry about that, I meant to respond earlier but got busy.
It was a 2nd gen and it was done today. We could try to get him by the shop but im fairly sure the guard wont fit that particular design since it replaced the entire lower valence.

Right. I've been on the hunt for a hidden winch mount for the 2016s. We'll see. I'll post up pictures after I get this coated and installed.

    Mine arrived today!

Unfortunately, it seems UPS did everything in their power to try and destroy the thing.

Fortunately, it's a GREAT product and held up well, save for some gouges and scuffs.

I'll get a powder coat estimate tomorrow and hopefully mount it up before my Alabama camping trip next weekend.

    Thanks for the great deal!

UPS dude must've literally thrown it into my carport because he knocked over my kid's toys that were organized and stacked along the wall. Plus it looks like the front of it was dragged across my asphalt driveway:

Wow, now I am worried about mine. I did get the coating, not really any places around me to get it done.

GB ends today! Thanks to everyone who got on board. Those with 3rd gen bars please post pics in the Avid section here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2016-tacoma-light-bar-pictures.423092/

As for questions when your bar will ship, as I stated in the 1st post they ship as they get finished and depending on what else you ordered there could be some delays. You will recieve a notice when they ship. Brandon and Tanner have worked very hard on getting these out to the TW members on top of their normal work load. This GB hasnt even been going long and many orders have shipped. This speaks volumes as to how much he cares for his customers.

The customers that had ordered with PC had a minor setback because the rain soaked the sand used to media blast the bars prior to PC. This was out of our control and strange cause we dont get a lot of rain this time of year in PHX.

Anyways, I assure you that Avid takes a lot of pride in their products and care when packaging. Unfortunately they cannot control the delivery person's day. Its not very common but these issues arise. Please be patient and email Brandon with issues 1st. Give him a chance to reply and work out a solution prior to a public flogging. We are only human after all.

Thank you to all of the TW members. Im not sure if we will have another GB anytime soon but stay tuned for a 3rd gen rear guard.

Ha! I see what your did there...

The 2nd gen guys got lucky that Brandon did that. When I approached him for the GB I was pushing for the 3rd gen product only because it is new. He is the one who recognized the interest on 2nd gen and decided to add it.
You must understand that there isnt much room for profit on these bars with a 20% discount. The 10% TW discount is very generous as is cause its ALWAYS offered to TW.

Again, a testament to Brandons character. Many of you had offline discussions with Brandon and I know he was very understanding and generous.

Thanks again to all that took part and please give Avid feedback in the form of pictures and spreading the love on social media and TW.
