well... he's blind (supposedly) in one eye... I've got hearing loss though

 

I can second these beds... My last pup got spoiled with them as well pretty much her entire life... the new one probably will too lol

 

Definitely great beds! You can't find that bed that cheap and that well made anywhere else.

 

And as funny as it was to see him try and fit in her bed when she stole the big one..... We just had to buy one more..

 

thinking about fostering some dogs, but don't know if i could handle departing with some if I built a solid relationship

 

I think of the same thing. I've rescued all my dogs and use a lab rescue out of Indiana. If I did it, I'll end up with 10 dogs!!!

I have had to tear myself away from a couple of others even since I adopted my pup. It's so hard to not take them all home!

 

We have fostered 17 dogs and we loved every one of them. Out of 17, we ended up folding a few of them into our family to stay.



Jake was a perfect fit after he got settled in and was "everyone's" dog. If you were willing to pet or scratch him, he liked you. It was pretty sketchy at first because he had some bad experiences with people in the past so we had to work hard to erase the sharp memory of those bad times.



These two Cardigan Corgi dogs were a hilarious pair of clowns that were aggressively protective of each other. For reasons that we never found out, the pair were dumped on the side of the road and left to fend for themselves. They were with us when our son was born and they absolutely loved and claimed him as their own.



When the black and white corgi passed away the blue merl corgi was the only dog in the house and was really bummed out. A few fosters later he met his second soul mate, which is our current family dog. The GSD was a well loved and highly trained dog that was surrendered by an owner that fell on hard times and simply could no longer afford to care for her. The blue merl corgi slipped his mortal coil and now the GSD rules the roost and she is a good balance for foster dogs.

Right now she is the lone dog in the house but I'm sure we will meet and get to love another little furry friend that we will see grow and then cheer for them as they find a forever family to live and love with.

If you think you would be able to foster an animal then please seriously consider it, talk to families that foster in your area and bring your concerns up and discuss them honestly. You are accepting responsibility for an animal that has probably had a rough start and will need extra emotional as well as possibly needing special medical attention.

 

7 year old American Cocker Spaniel. His name is "Puszek" (Said Poo-shek). I can't go from one room t another without him following me and forget about bathrooms.

 

Titus (right) and his sister Belle insisting my friend throw the ball again tonight. Belle lives with my roommate's sister's family just down the road from me and they watch Titus when I go to work (work 48 hour shifts). Two peas in a pod those two!

Thank You! we just got him about a month ago and hes 8 months, but i think hes golden retriever mixed with austrailian shephard

 

Here's my little buddy. Her Wisdom Panel DNA results list her as predominantly German Shepard and Labrador Retriever.

 

Shes gorgeous!!! mine might be very similar to yours. i need to find out. hes super smart. i cant wait to take him out wheeling and camping
