It does intermittently. It's not consistent. I would say that it works about 90% of the time as expected. I can't figure out the other 10%... overall, I am very happy with it. I am sure you know, but Qi does not charge as fast as hard wired. I don't know how much slower, but it feels like maybe 75% as fast.

Sidenote, I love how this case has an easy plug cap that goes in and out allowing for hard wire charges. no need to remove case.

Same experience. Works well when I need it to but it does start to cut in and out when above 90-95%

Looks like it's a common problem.

I did the same. Sold my LG V10 and bought the S7 Edge. I had All of the Notes one LG and back to Samsung,,,S7 works flawlessly in the message world. My V10 never worked. QI charges the S7.....

You sound like me. I upgrade my phone every 3 months. I just picked up the S7 today, and i'm already looking forward to the LG G5 next month. I'll upgrade to that for sure.

The S7 Edge I got today reminds me too much of the S6 Edge plus I had prior to the V10.

Anyone have their phones overheat due to the wireless charging? I bought a "nillkin" brand case for my iPhone 6 plus which came with a pad for home. Worked great on the pad, worked great in the truck. one day, in the truck, i noticed that the phone kept on cycling between charging and not. Found that the phone and charge pad were HOT! I think the phone is fried. since then, the phone/case only charges in certain combinations. In the truck and with the qi pad and case, or with aftermarket cables (the Amazon basics cable) with or without the Apple outlet adapter. A brand new apple adapter and stock cable do not work. The case is supposed to have a max output of 5v-1A which is what the iPhone is supposed to take. case linked below.

    -any thoughts?

sold my LG V10 to buy the S7...one hell of a phone and everything works with the truck, Apps, music ......messaging, the latter did not work with the V10

Bought one for the wife...She did not want to have to deal with transferring everything so she keeps her S4 and I sold her S7 . I think I will keep her.....

My S6 Edge with Otter box case works fine if I position the top of the phone to the right edge or on the left side up to the indicator light.

I charged to full, with the case & without the case and no green light.

is your phone an iPhone with adaptive case for charging...or is it another type of phone with built in wireless charging (no special case needed)?

I have the Galaxy 6s and the charger works half of the time. And my phone does get pretty hot after a while, too.

It's works very well with all s6s and 7s. Pay attention to placement on the charging area with the larger units. It's all about placement.

I've had my cheap 20 dollar case for my 6 on my phone since the end of november and no problems with mine, and it's saved my phone on some pretty bad drops which I'm surprised.

my phone charges just fine with the truck's Qi pad...works great; and the yellow light works good too. My beef is with the green light not working. Have you seen the green light come on??

What does the green light indicate? I've only had the yellow one come on
