Thank you. There's a lot of things there that lend themselves to being good pictures I have to admit lol.

Love my CBI Dakar. I have built a few bumpers for myself but finally saved up the money and got a legit one. No regrets at all. 6d4ccc24e2b82bced302d9da8783c1b4_bf3a2c939e070ae84d5ee3c718328a36476d1dc2.jpg

Bout 2'' - 2.5'' here. Going to probably bump it up to 3 this summer when I mess with the ORI's again.

Who in here has 885x? I ordered OME 885X and nowhere on the box does it say 885X. Only 885 on every sticker, does this seem strange?

You guys cut the fenders too?

Would love to run my truck at a lower height, I'm at 4 and half inches of lift right now

Definitely have to cut the fronts ~1" -1.5". Rear you may be able to get away with not cutting but.most cut to match the front anyway.

How do the fenders hold up after being cut for some time? any signs of rust?

Most people paint where they cut using a paint pen or small brush and then cover with a liner found at auto parts stores or whatever they can figure up. The fronts hold up fine. The rears hold up okay but you need to relocate a mount or two on them to keep em sturdy.

Really sounds a lot harder than it is.

Id love to go this route because I've admired you(@weldertaco) and @BabyTaco trucks even before I got my truck. I'm just scared to start hacking up my fenders haha

Don't want to discourage you but I would really think about going to 35's on a 3in lift. The cutting and work required to fit the tires is pretty easy but it's irreversible (to an extent). I would highly suggest you weigh the pro's (few) and cons (a lot) for 35's. I couldn't sit here and tell you a good reason why I have 35's other than the fact I wanted them. I could tell you all the things I came up with to convince myself I would use them though .

Yeah for sure. That's why I'm trying to do a lot of my research on here and asking around before I pull the trigger on it. Another option I had was to go down to 33s and drop the truck down to 3 inches with not a lot of work compared to running 35s.

I would suggest most people to go that route. I enjoy the 35's and rarely regret them. What I do regret is the choice of MTR's haha. My truck pretty much only gets used for camping/fishing/hunting/mountain trips so I enjoy airing them big ol' tars down and utilizing that poor man long travel. My trucks ride is nice and cushy with the 35's at 10 psi.
